Anyone else think the poems are about Skid's dad? It's implied that he may have been the cult's founder,or at least a high ranking member, perhaps he felt guilty about his past actions and that's why he's asking for forgiveness,the line "Forgive me for the offspring born into darkness" seems like it could be referring to Skid, perhaps his dad fears that he may have put him in danger,and the line "forgive me on the account of those who will never depart or die" could be referencing how the cult amulet seems to grant it's wearer immortality based on what we know about Bob. The line in the previous poem,"the vessel is rotting" could be referencing how he died in the first place, maybe he offered his body as a vessel for Eyes,the poem implies that regardless of who the vessel was the ritual went wrong some how leaving the vessel a rotting corpse,or perhaps he was so overcome with guilt for what he'd done that he turned on the cult and they sacrificed him in retribution.

I mean, Skid and Pump are kinda weird outliers to almost everything happening. They summon Moloch effortlessly with just a Ouija board, they managed to bring the Eyes of the Universe out of… wherever it was, just to give it candy, they seem unaffected by most, if not all of the paranormal things happening around town unless they willingly let it happen to them (such as Moloch possessing them), etc. If I had to guess, Skid’s dad must’ve given his son these strange powers via the cult either on accident or possibly on purpose, and Pump was either a part of it too (considering he and Skid are almost never separated outside their own homes) or Skid’s powers seemed to have rubbed off on Pump (considering his powers seems generally weaker or at least different than Skid’s, as seen in the Eyes of the Universe scene and the fact he has The Eye’s Marking while Skid doesn’t.) But hey, that’s just what I think

Even though having a ton of recurring characters in a show usually makes the show suck, Spooky Month does recurring characters really well, as seen in this episode, Moloch returns, and they add a really interesting story to him as well, tying in Christianity/Catholicism with Father Gregor. The Stars seem like they’re gonna be important next episode but I really like how everything, even the goofy robbers from episode 2, are all tied to the lore.

Observation: Ignacio's gun has two notches on it(or the roman numeral two), which, at least in wild western stories, means he has shot and killed two people with it. Might be reaching but it's a thought.

This is an excellent video, its so nice seeing a theorist actually go in depth instead of... spider skidad. Spooky month was my special interest for a little over a year, so im going to note down some things i noticed in the video as someone that only left the fandom a few months ago ^^ please take some of this with a grain of salt, im in no way a theorist and left before the arg - I believe sr pelo said that the mannequin was just a gag, but its a cool idea for it to have become more over time or team up with the spider - You didnt mention the painting of skidad in ignacios house!!! In the corner of the screen, theres a picture of skidad presenting something (a birthday cake?) to a very peeved ignacio - expanding on that, ignacio is almost no doubt a cult member. With the connections, depictions, and doodles, its a pretty safe bet to say hes the arsonist - Johns daughter is an iffy point. You said the angel costume meant she wasnt dead when it probably does the opposite, and with johns reaction,, its fair to think shes dead, but if i remember correctly pelo said she wasnt so its very on the fence - The widow comment toward Lila was likely more of Gregor just interpreting skids reaction to his father being mentioned as him being dead, so its stilla mystery - Didnt mention that skidad is canon best gamer in town, smh - evermore might not be the top of the cult hierarchy, just high up - You didnt mention that goop dexters eyes moved to look at the mannequin in the final scene - This might not be canon, but a fun interpretation i choose to believe is that the spider belongs to skidad in some form - Not sure if youve maybe mentioned it in a past video or something, but there are supposedly six children meant to be sacrificed, and theres six main children in the show (skid and pump, susie, and the hatzgang) (Not including poor lucky, hes just a gag character as much as i love him) - Im surprised there was no mention of the board game that was tested on stream. There are a lot of cool cards and little lore drops. Also, there was a skidad card of him feeding eyes his own blood with a dagger, wearing his woodcarver costume, where he looks very unhappy - Skidad is definitely the leader of the cult Sorry if i got a bit nerd emoji :3

It was too complicated for me to understand, but it did result into some very cool cards including ghost dexter, skidad with eyes, molochs first full body appearance, ect. It would be pretty easy to find the cards by asking around or looking them up if youre interested in them :3

I have a theory that John's daughter isn't dead, instead she's in the Cult. Look back to last episode's full ending where John has a picture of his daughter in his wallet, and a person in a cult robe. Now it COULD be his wife, but in this episode John says "yours parents love you, no matter what" to Skid and Pump. Now of course he would say this about his daughter if she was dead, but what if she is in the cult and he knows that she was led there with some kind of promise and knows deep down she is still his daughter and he still loves her and Hopes to save her. Also I wonder if the Mayor's assistant is Pump's great uncle, his grandfather's twin brother. It could answer why he's in the picture of Lila and her friends that one Halloween, or why he looks like that man that Pump's dad is in front of. Then again why is Bob there unless the adults just wanted the person who brought the food to have his picture taken. Lots of great things unfolding now that Father Gregor is involved...but man did this episode break me with Lila being told she was irresponsible and that Frank IS saving the kids, plus Pump and Susie's grandpa is the BEST grandfather ever!

i think that moloch and eyes are opposite deities, with moloch being malicious and eyes being a protector. the writer of the scroll was trying to summon moloch, which eyes would know would hurt the people, so the writer obscured themselves. i believe that eyes doesn't have malintent compared to moloch is that they watch over the boys as a protector, and never harm them or the priest, while moloch possessed and kills people to have his sacrifice

They get led into the woods where the tree will sacrifice them (in Kevin's Dream Job), and since they aren't the main protagonists (Skid and Pump are), they could be in danger. (I hope this isn't true!) BUT HEY, that's just a theory, A FILM THEORY! Edit: I forgot to mention, we only see Skid and Pump return from the woods in the short, not the Hatzgang or Susie.
