Killing off the council would be a waste and a terrible way to end the Kang storyline.

It's been said that the Kang story is concluded with Doomsday, and Marvel fired Majors from the role so I haven't got any other ideas for how this could work, plus killing off the council at the start with Doom being the one to do it isn't an unpopular idea
