if you could only control who walks thru those doors. I'd imagine having to shake it in front of certain clients would be a total buzz kill; kind of takes away from the whole choice aspect.
@mikkovaan8636
@mikkovaan8636 5 жыл бұрын
A lot of escorts are independent and some of them exert a good decree of control on who they let be as their clients. It is crucial to protect your well-being in your line of work, whatever it may be. It would probably be very benefical if there was some page where you could hire independent strippers instead of going to clubs.

it will be a wonderful day when the workers own and fully control the mode of production. A strippers' co-op is a great idea.

It's a less extreme version of the Sin City Old town model. It doesn't need to be guns, but the workers making their own rules... why is that a hot fantasy instead of common sense!?

@firstnamelastname7003
@firstnamelastname7003 4 жыл бұрын
@@izdatsumcp realise this is an old comment but it's near the top so worth pointing out for new viewers: this is happening now. The largest wholefoods retailer in the UK is a worker's co-op, for example. But when they're competing against undemocratic corporations where the competitive edge is found in a race to the bottom in terms of workers' wages and conditions, it's no wonder that they find it difficult. If we want a society that rewards its workers for their hard work, we need to give them more protection against the vultures, in the same way that we did a hundred years ago by implementing minimum wages, working hours, unions etc.
@izdatsumcp
@izdatsumcp 4 жыл бұрын
@@firstnamelastname7003 It's not a race to the bottom in terms of wages and conditions at all. Business wants to pay for good work, just as they'd pay for a good machine. And better conditions make employees better workers.

Alright! Now, we got to seek out the "wider society", and those who all have the same stigma with each other that strippers have a tough childhood. - "We can't though, it is too generalized". Fine then, what is the naked truth?

I'm heart broken. People are so cruel ignorant on what dancers actually do. We have no rights, no sympathy, no humanity. We're labeled as "whores, prostitutes, trash etc." I was abused at work injured my knee and now I'm thrown away no rights whatsoever because I was an independent contractor. Thankfully I consider myself intelligent enough to find ways to rise and continue paying my family's living costs. Just devastated on how they rejected responsibility and help all because I was a "stripper"

@Kannot2023

Why don't you learn a skill that is independent of you looks? If you are skilled it is harder to be replaced. If you have done pole dancing maybe you are in a good physical shape, and maybe find a job a fitness instructor,dance instructor,kinetotherapist for example.

But I must disagree with the phrase "see me as I choose to be seen" I think people have the right to see other people as they want. I actually think it doesn't match with the whole talk about freedom and work choice. Still was a nice punchline I just don't like it.

I am wondering if at the entrance of the club you will get a warning that you will lose 200$, how many men will enter? I doubt about the "willingly" part, our decisions are triggered by emotions. Anyway when you go to a club leave you credit card and most of the money at home.
