After the gather, I only see two steps; the left foot and then the right foot. Though, I am not that proficient at basketball, so I may very well be wrong on the point at which the gather “occurs”. I took the point as the one where he assumes control of the bouncing ball. Edit: after looking at it once again, I think that may have been a carry prior to the call in question, thus, I agree that it is a travel, solely based on the carry.
