Great video Jason. I've got a 2023 Husky TX 300 and I'm doing a similar, everything build as you. I went with the gnarly and in tight single track it's working great. I'm going to do some more open, higher speed riding tomorrow and we'll see if it signs off too early. I also installed the JD Jetting Power Surge 6X and couldn't be happier with it. The other major mod so far is I send my suspension off to Kreft Moto and opted for their full revalve with their XACT AER 48 ReValve Control. Very plush setup now. My brother has two bikes which he has replaced the AER 48s with cone valve forks, and he also rode his buddies new 23 TX 300 with the stock forks a couple day's before riding mine yesterday. Went from saying he would never stick with the air forks to saying, "Those are great, wouldn't change anything on them." I have to check with my dealer about the new mapping. I'll be interested to see what else you do to your XC. Cheers

Check out TSP high compression head and ECU reflash if you want it to run better and have more hp👍

I was thinking of adding a 300SX to the garage....but man, this video reminded me of just how much freaking money I have dumped into my 350 XC-f to make it the perfect bike for me, and road legal, probably like 6-8k extra...what a hassle. Maybe I'll just stick with the 350. lol

Been dreaming of a Moto/off-road bike like for sometime, don’t see a lot of builds aimed at this. So happy to see it! Sticking with my 350 for another year but I’m ready to lose a little on the track to gain a lot on trail with the 300

I personally have a 300 XCW and I love it on the tighter single track. Good luck with your bike!

Check out TSP they have a high compression head and ECU reflash power kit. It will clean up the power range plus more hp !👍

The transmission is the same on the 23+ XC as the 24+ xcw. Exact same.

Mind sharing what part of Idaho you ride.. we did a small single track ride yesterday by the Pegasus mine in Idaho (live in Garland right on the border). I’d like to find some more stuff worth riding close by. We are also building a place in Island Park, but I’ve been told there isn’t anything there… maybe close?

And I guess I saw this, because I just bought a 2022 300XC, and this was its first trip out. My KZbin feed is nothing but 300’s right now!

Sorry to the people who commented- I accidentally hit "report as spam" instead of reply... duh!!! My apologies.
Awesome break down! Did you consider the 350xc-f or 450xc-f?

The 350 is a good option too for Idaho single track riding.

How many miles can you go on your IMS tank riding singletrack approximately? Just picked up a 24 xcw so trying to figure my range
@offroadunderground8987 Жыл бұрын
Approximately 100 miles. Stock tank is about 65 on single track.

You can set a bike up to do a little of everything, but they usually end up not being real great at anything. I ride mostly off road in the Tucson desert. That includes trails, single track, some decent sized jumps. Lots of rocks, hills, and slower technical stuff. I'm on a crf450r and it was originally only real good on a track. I've switched to a 18" wheel, set the suspension up to be more forgiving off road, handlebars, light, large tank..... And it's better than it was off road, but now it's not the same animal it was on the track either. Can't have it all I guess.

Thanks for the input. Jason has worked with IMS for many years and he didn't mention it. I'll check in again with him.

@@offroadunderground8987 I called their engineering team they said fuel has to splash around to get picked up the huge problem is the pick up is half way up the tank hangin upside down, as soon as the tank gets 1/2 empty it starts stuttering
