Nope and Pacino wasn’t even NOMINATED for an Oscar, that’s some serious hating shit right there 😂😂😂 can’t think of 1 performance in 1983 better than his… let alone 5! Lol
@gameroftheyear10006 ай бұрын
@@Riscoflatz the film was a flop when it came out. It was considered overly crass, violent, too long and borderline disrespectful and racist towards Cuban people at the time. Critics hated it, audiences didn’t like it and Pacino’s fellow actors didn’t like it. Reportedly many at the premier walked out after the chainsaw scene and supposedly even Dustin Hoffman full on was snoring asleep a quarter of the way into the movie. How far the film has come since 1983. I guess once people saw it was an anti drug film and it’s now considered an art and period piece, because come on, it encapsulates the 1980’s pretty much in 3 hours, it helped people reevaluate it to its legacy status of today.
@Riscoflatz6 ай бұрын
@@gameroftheyear1000 most of Dustin hoffmans performances put me to sleep. 😂 I agree lol how many profile pictures on social media are of Tony Montana lol.. also people didn’t like it cause of the remake and said it wasn’t aligned.
