Cool...a musical time piece. Never was the same after plonk left the band. He was the heart and soul of the band. Then it was time for rod to start thinking about jumping ship- his solo career.

Before glam, make-up, posers, and narcissists saying "Look at me!" like today. Rod Stewart was obviously driving the sound and ego showing, but at least they were all real musicians, before corporate dictated who would be popular without an ounce of talent. A cool glimpse into how it was with The Faces, and an underated great rock band.

To be fair there was a very big thing happening at the same time called glam rock with Marc Bolan and David Bowie. The faces were not far from that especially Rod

I once bumped into Wood and Stewart outside The Rum Runner in Birmingham, in the mid 60'svery much dressed in their dandy look then and smelling like a perfume factory, hair severely back combed, what a sight! I'd have taken any bets they were both Gay. Couldn't have been more wrong really!

Love the Barbican construction site. Wondrous. London is now Westfield. They're going to connect the two Westfields and put a runway on top.London Westfield airport. This is so shoppers from Dubai don't feel anxious about nuanced architecture and culture, when they arrive. London is in its death throes. Shame.
