I have a friend who is just like Barbara's friend. When you hit a bump in your life, she will call you every day to know what is going on. When you achieve something, she will sound uninterested and will make the conversation very short. She loves people's misery (we went to school together so we have so many people to talk about). She knows who married a loser, who is doing bad financially in other words she is in everyone's business for the wrong reasons.

@annidillstrom, same. The narration is often irritating because it sounds both excited by pain and tragedy, but also kind of mechanical. And I find the repeated cliche phrases like "she found the perfect man of her dreams", and, " they had a picture-perfect life" make me want to bash my head against the wall, LOL. But they do cover some unique stories.

That's not true. Cheating can be a One time misstanke and it is possible to save the relationship if you really want to. Cheating often is a result of when you stop working in the relationship. You Always have to work in it and Keep it alive. You start to become more like Friends than Lovers and you start getting bored. That's when cheating often comes in to the picture. It is possible to overcome.
