@@susansage1876 The real truth is that you love your wicked sins! Unless you repent; you will perish. Romans 1:18-32 God's Wrath on Unrighteousness 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. 19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[a] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

Honestly, I studied forensics to become a forensic pathologist (before I truly realized how long medical school would take) and the way I thought about it was “I really want to help families understand how their loved one was taken from them”. Now, I might go into either veterinary or mortuary school because that desire to help people is still there, whether that’s thru helping animals or helping the grieving process. I don’t think it’s weird at all to be interested in ‘morbid’ topics simply because the world needs people to be passionate about those things. Forensics, medical, & mortuary science wouldn’t exist without people who pushed boundaries!!

Yes, what are the chances the body shows up in a fisherman's net in the vast ocean within several days; the Rolex watch has the number to trace back to the owner who had it service; and the cop goes to the wrong house? I am a big fan of true crime and fancy myself somewhat of an "armchair detective." So often I watch these cases screaming in my head, "What is wrong with these police officers/detectives/attorneys/judges/juries???" In this case, it is the total opposite and this is an example of absolutely brilliant police work. The Devon police did a superb job working with virtually nothing to solving the case of an international con man and murderer. Great job Britain!

Each new person interviewed and each clue discovered adds another layer to the complex tapestry of the case. The meticulous attention to detail required, coupled with the emotional restraint necessary to pursue leads without bias, showcases the profound skill and dedication of those in law enforcement. Their ability to maintain composure under pressure not only drives the investigation forward but also ensures that justice is served with integrity.

Did you know? Prior to carrying forms of ID, one of the most common ways of identifying a body was by the watch. Pocket watches were the more common type carried and were often serviced and marked inside with a service number. Watches from the early 1900s and 1800s are often covered with these numbers. Law enforcement would check with local jewlers to see if they could match them.
