I can't wait to try. Tip for fine textured ground beef is to add about 1 cup of water, break down by hand, cook and discard excess water. An old trick for making Cincinnati Chili (Skyline) for Coney Island Chile Dogs. Cheers

Who remembers when Taco bell hot sauce came in little tubs? One sauce, no variations and it was tastier.

You could also clean a penny with it while eating dinner. Just drop one in and 10 mins later it looked brand new!

This taste like the real deal! All other videos I have seen of "Taco Bell recipes" are a joke. I just found this recipe and have put it to use twice and everybody is shocked how close it is to Taco Bell. If it's not exact, it's damn close. His tomato-based red enchilada sauce taste just like Taco Bell too. THANK YOU so much for posting this! You deserve WAY more "likes" and subscribes for your service to man kind. That's why I'm commenting on your recipes. Note: I added a tiny bit less oregano and black pepper.

Remember that the taco bell meat must be made so that it is 90% soybean filler and only 10% low grade beef from trimmings and scrap that you get from a dog food factory, that even dogs would turn their noses up at.

After the lawsuit they stopped putting "Stuff" in the meat. Of course, they kept the Torula Yeast to give it that 'dog food' flavor we had become accustomed too.

Looks good, once again. On an only slightly related note; do you know what item I seriously miss, from my days of enjoying Taco Bell? The seven layer burrito. I long had a love/annoyance relationship with this item, as I loved it when it was assembled right, and only wistfully enjoyed it when they did it wrong, How to do it wrong? Well, as I once went back and told a TB manager; I ordered a seven LAYER burrito, not a seven SECTION burrito.

See, like I was commenting on the other Chalupa Steak or the Cantina Chicken videos, is that you can see here ... 3:16 ... that this recipe (i.e., TB ground beef) has some type of saucy-ness to it. So, that's what wife and I plan to take your @CS and @CC recipes, then we're going to fork from what you have, and then try to create something that has a little more taste outside of it. Also, no complaints to you on those recipes, but it'd be nice to have some type of thicker gravy that goes with both of those. Then, that's all most people need to do everything TB at home.

I am working on this recipe right now. I finally went into town (I live in the boonies) and got Taco Bell for the first time in about 8 months. The cantina chicken should be pretty easy to replicate. I have been making chicken like that my whole life. The steak will take a little tweaking but I should be able to shoot those videos next week. IF you want to try a simple hack for this use one of those seasoning packets and make it in a small pot without the chicken or steak in it yet. When it starts to come to a simmer (about 204f) it will get thick very quickly. Add the cooked chicken or steak and stirr it all up. Add a little worecestershire sauce or A1 for the steak maybe and it should be close to what you are looking for.

Damn whatever happened to the Taco Bell Enchiritos why did they stop offering them? They were awesome way back when. Do you have a video of how to make them?
@Drive-ThruKitchen4 ай бұрын
I know, they were great. I hear it was because they took too long to make and held up the line. I do have a video for that, and it should be out tomorrow, actually. I also have the meximelt and pizza right behind it. Chalupas are coming soon!

If my friends came over for dinner and said this tastes justs like Taco Hell, I would be embarrassed and pissed. I make real meals..... especially Mexican food. I don't "copycat" crap fast food.
