How long did it take to inflate the tires? You "started the clock" but didn't tell us the time it took to get to your desired PSI. Thanks
@Altek13 жыл бұрын
Ha, good point. I was just doing a race against the other, not considering time since they both took a few minutes. Normally, I'm only topping off a few psi due to the change in temp, that takes about 30 seconds to a minute. To go up about 10-15psi, it's about 4-5 minutes. A full inflate from empty depending on the tire does take a considerable amount of time, around 10-15 minutes. If it's cold out, expect to need to charge the unit afterwards.

What's the price of the inflator
@Altek12 жыл бұрын
It's listed on Amazon for $120 but they have a lot of incentives on their site. I still use it frequently and besides losing a lot of battery quickly in cold weather, which any battery would really, it's holding up well.

Can the battery be replaced?
@Altek13 жыл бұрын
Doesn't look like it. And I wasn't aware of the price before it was released, it's a steep ask for what it is. Still a decent product but with no replaceable battery, that could be a deal breaker.

@@Altek1 thanks for feeder, that's a deal breaker $100.00 door stop in a year
@Altek13 жыл бұрын
Hah, I think you'll get more than a year out it but that's if you use it like I do, once every two weeks. If you're an active person, yeah, doorstop in a year or two. If you can find this or a similar one for around $75, I'd say that's fair. Anything cheaper and it'll probably do the whole shoddy battery explosion thing.

79 bucks?
@Altek13 жыл бұрын
That seems to be the pre-order price which is very well worth it if that's the permanent price.
@mpcp273 жыл бұрын
@@Altek1 That's the kick starter pre launch price..$79. Based on what they did with theirjump pack, expect the price to gradually increase by another $20-$40 after. Maybe final price will be around $100. If you want battery operated inflator, its a good choice. If you're just looking for an inflator that runs off the car, then the Viair 85/87/88p are much better choices at around $55-$70.
@Altek13 жыл бұрын
Even for $100, that's not a bad deal. Any higher and you definitely lost me. My wired inflator was about $35 on Amazon and it's pretty good. I did have an issue with a fuse and had to bum power off another car which wasn't ideal but that scenario is rare. The main reason I like it is when I go to pickup my car at the garage after a few weeks. My bag has a battery booster and now the air inflator and I'm ready to go without annoying cables. Unless that's what you're doing, or camping, it's definitely overkill for most people.
