It seems Wesley and Austin are venturing out doing their own thing a bit more than you’re probably ready for. Wesley driving and in school and Austin riding horses by herself. Lawrence don’t mess around when he’s cutting hay. Meredith I think it’s very touching the way you enjoy holding on to your mom and granny’s recipe memories. My Pimento Cheese: shred a half a block of Velveeta (freeze it first to make it easier to grate), add a well drained jar of CHOPPED pimentos, add sweet pickle relish, enough mayo to make it the consistency you desire (not too much), mix well, sprinkle a dab of sugar on top and mix. Very simple. This was my Mother's recipe, but I discovered it was a very common one. I tried, just to be doing it, a number of recipes found on the internet and none measured up. Makes great grilled pimento cheese sandwiches, too!

I remember bailing hay and straw for my neighbor who supplied loads going to Lexington, Ky from west central Ohio. I earned 1 dollar an hour at 14 and 1.25 at 15 years old. It helped pay for my first car. One of the drivers hauling the hay to Kentucky always used 2 hay hooks to handle the bales. Us kids were curious and we started using 2 and never went back. I know its weird, I just felt like sharing that. I was born in 1950

Part of your farm reminds me of our old farm. Our farm was along the loyalhanna river flood control for Pittsburgh. Never failed get a good crop we'd get a big rain and flood it out or cow's would be on wrong side when they needed to be milked. Frustrating. Take care god bless.

I never drain my pimentos. Just add a little more Dukes. I also add a little heat to my Pinmento cheese.

Tajin goes awesome sprinkled on Watermelon, pineapple and my fav. Mangoes 🥭 not bad on tater salad either. I use mine mainly for above mentioned fruits !

When I make homemade pimento cheese, I add cottage cheese and it helps with the texture. It isn't as pretty but very good. I use less mayo that way so it’s not as salty.

Love your videos. I would like to share how I mix my pimento cheese spread. When using a mixer use the bread beater to mix. This works best. If you use the wire beater it will make a big clump and a big mess

How is Lawrence knee replacement been doing.? Does Lawrence have an hurt back also. Seeing him makes me think he has because I have a hurt back but also bad arthritis. We move a lot alike. Has the knee replacement help any with relieving the pain in his back? I had to retire due to worn out knees and have put off knee surgery thinking that it would not help my back pain so there's no need for that. I'm 73, and was wondering what Lawrence's age is. Thanks
