Yes, and we actually have a couple of drones. I have no idea how to do anything but crash them but that is besides the point. Lol. Hey, Joe, maybe I've missed your explanation about why you dug up a grass field to turn around and plant it again with grass. I'm assuming you did it to improve the KIND of grasses you want to grow in that area for your newly bred cow coming in August? It has been such a long and involved process - acquiring and fixing your plow, a harrow, etc. as you mentioned near the end of your video - I'm just curious what inspired all that focused and good work. I appreciate any clarification you could give. Your work is inspiring regardless of the motivation!
@NorthernSeclusion4 ай бұрын
It did not have the correct grass for cows. It was more of a horse type grass, not a lot of nutrients. That field also had a lot of buttercup in it which is poison to cattle. We wanted one real good pasture with the correct grasses and clover etc. Not sure what keeps me focused, I just know that I have a deadline and I need to get things done. People will complain because I have not been in the guesthouse but I can not be in there and get the garden planted in time for us to have a harvest. We have a short growing season. We have cows coming in August so I know I need fencing up. Soon I will start freaking out because winter is coming and I need to cut wood. I have not started that yet because each day beyond my hernia surgery is another day it heals before giving that area the ultimate workout cutting 24 cords of wood. I just wake up knowing I need to get things done today. Lol. Thank you Bridget.

@@NorthernSeclusion This is the most informative and kind answer I have ever gotten to my or other people's comments on KZbin videos. Plus I learned a LOT about grasses! And I can see how much you need to get done before the snow flies again especially as you grow your farm. So hats off to you and Melissa as you bloom where you most consciously have planted yourselves in this flourishing stage of life.
