he's playing his best game ever, if the Panthers don't win the cup this year, i think it'll never happen, everything is going their way right now. If panthers win the cup for the first time, that 10 million dollar contract was well worth it. Curious why Flyers traded him? Flyers is known as the goalie graveyard, and they have never ever had good goaltending, why trade him?

For sure! And just a tough decision to go after bryzgalov in free agency, he was coming off of two really good years tho

Well... looks like they're about to win the Stanley Cup in spite of losing last year

@@artyparty_av yea lol, it's over, 3-0, Oilers will never recover, maybe out of desperation they could win game 4, but coming back from 3-0 in the finals is super unlikely

Who gives up on a .915 rookie goaltender after one bad postseason? Seriously, what is wrong with that GM.

Great video! One point I’d have to disagree with, the most interesting goaltender in NHL history? I mean I’m a fan but I’d say that honor goes towards Martin Brodeur. Just like Michael Jordan, he failed to make a starting position on his high school team and it devastated him to the point of wanting to quit. If it wasn’t for Brodeur‘s deceased brother, he wanted to devote his life to being a professional skier. Today he’s not only in the Hall of Fame but is widely considered to be the best goaltender in NHL history. But I get it, it’s all subjective.

@@DropthePuckHockeyI called it. Watching him in preseason after the Flyers went to the finals, I knew Bob was gonna be something special, but the Flyers fumbled it by going with Bryz instead of Bob.

@@DropthePuckHockey Laviolette also screwed with his confidence in his playoffs pulling him multiple times. His rookie year he wasn't even supposed to be at the NHL he was supposed to spend a year in the AHL but because of injuries he started right away. I think looking back if the organization spent time developing him instead of rushing it they could of solved all their goalies issues for a decade.

@@DropthePuckHockey - Holmgren made lots of personnel mistakes. The other interesting thing about the Panthers this season: Alex Lyon, their other goaltender, also was with the Flyers …
