We are back! In today's video, I wanna share with you guys a clip of Wieniawski's "Etude Caprice" Op. 18 No.4
This is a piece written for violin, so it's definitely very technically demanding when cellists attempt at it. I spend a lot of time doing slow metronome work and I'm still struggling with intonation and the big jumps 😩 And it's so fast!! I might have played a bit too fast tbh...my natural tendency is to play fast when I get nervous so....
In addition, I thought it might be fun to show you guys what was going on in my head when I was playing the piece. I've heard of people that just don't think at all during performances, but I'm definitely one of those that kept getting anxiety over upcoming hard passages.
