Personal experience with this: I did this treatment at the dentist. Zoom. It was almost 2 hrs or so incl prep, 4x15. It was around 350 USD (Germany). By the 4th time, I had intense pain at times ("zings") - but hey, at least they were really white. Not like Tom Cruise, but definitely a good white. I didn't have yellow teeth to begin with, but definitely not a nice white. Over night the zings got a lot worse, and I'm good at tolerating pain...but it was bad, I used the gel for sensitive teeth, even pain killers. It only subsided by day 3. I still thought it was worth it, at least at first. Believe it or not: In the first week I didn't drink coffee, tea, or ate anything that could stain my teeth. Not even by week 2. HOWEVER, after 2 weeks they basically ended up looking almost the same as before. I never heard of anyone who had the same problem as me, that it didn't work, except one person I found online. The pain and zings however are common. Never again. Not sure if there is anything else out there that works well except veneers.

I did four rounds of this and it is extremely painful towards the end. My teeth were very very sensitive and even a gust of air would send a sharp pain. I do have a high pain tolerance so I would be willing to do this again because the results were pretty great but the pain is immense.

It is extremely painful. If you are dehydrated it's painful... If you haven't had meticulous gum care (great flossing, etc) for at least a month straight, its extremely painful, and if you don't prep ahead with vitamin E oil gel.... Something that protects the gums from burning

I could never understand why people are so obsessed with teeth as white as snow. Not only that the procedures are often costly but also the pain and the discomfort they come with, but I guess to each their own? I’m a dentist and did this. Not going to lie, it was painful. It was like being electrocuted through your teeth. I typically do not have sensitivity. I would recommend regular bleaching trays that you get custom made from your dentist

If you guys/gals ever get whitening. I suggest using a sensitivity toothpaste. Because your teeth are kinda like pores, they have really small holes and those holes are normally filled, and what that hydrogen peroxide is doing is clearing out all those stains and deep cleaning your teeth and unclogging all your teeth ''pores''. So because of that it makes your teeth very sensitive, so I suggest using a sensitivity toothpaste to get rid of that sensitivity by re ''clogging'' those pores, and it leaves you without much or any sensitivity and having pretty white teeth. Hope this helps.

The very first time and only time I tried this I had to stop in the middle of the process because it seriously felt like someone was burning my teeth! Idk if that's the case for everyone but it wasnt fun and although we stopped mid treatment it did whiten my teeth but didnt last and no way I'd go again. I have recently gotten an at home blue light deal and same thing🙃🥵 Upon further investigation I read that the blue led lights when mixed with peroxide is the same effect of a sunburn...radiation I guess🤷‍♀️ I could smell a very distinct burnt like skin smell?? Good grief!! So there you go lol! I have no suggestions besides research and if it hurts, quit🤷‍♀️
