Yes! Strength 200% I've been in eating disorder recovery for almost 9 years. Once I decided I wanted to be strong, not "skinny" my entire outlook on fitness and body imaged changed. Now I'm 8.5 mo pregnant and approaching the next step in my fitness journey... being a strong and healthy mommy.

10/10 every time I was caught staring I was admiring there strength, physique, form, etc. Yesterday, I was admiring this girl because of her strength and her physique then I noticed she kept pinching her back fat with a disgusted face. I wanted to go over there and compliment something to help brighten her day but I was too shy and scared to. Going to do it next time I notice something like this!

The focus on strength has completely changed my outlook on the gym, nutrition, and my body shape. I'm 42 and am the strongest I've ever been and I feel great, the physique changes are just a side result, not the focus. Also, I keep a super basic spreadsheet on my google docs that shows my progress. I've gone from hip thrust of 90 lbs max to 170lbs!

Thank you for shift #2! I’m still trying to lose my post partum belly from 2 years ago and it’s been hard. I’m happy with everything else that I’ve seen change in the last 6 months of me going to the gym and changing my eating habits. But it’s just that stomach. My husband said to me it’s more important to be healthy and strong than your looks. And I love that you said it and he said to me because it’s something I’ve been struggling with.

I’m sure it’s not nearly as bad as you think it is. Just think of all the people who struggle with baby bellies who didn’t actually have babies 😉❤️💪🏽

Hang in there. It will eventually go away if you're at your pre-baby weight. I've had 3 babies. Stretch marks still there but the flab is gone.
@alicelopez9013 жыл бұрын
Me too 😭 I lift weights and been noticing changes but my flabby gut is taking its sweet time. I also got abdominal separation which doesn't help. Slow but subtle, mommy life certainly delays the results I should've delivered before but all this is so encouraging, relatable, and I do feel stronger though 😁

I have endometriosis and my stomach is a personal pain point. It bloats several inches at random and never really looks "normal". I mostly fluctuate between looking okayish and looking 4-5 months pregnant. Meg's stomach at a month post-partum looks like me at my most normal. There isn't much I can do about it but letting go of the mental struggle is hard.

Thank you for openness and keep developing those products -I am loving them! and love you too :)

I am SO happy you’re releasing a plant based protein 🤗 I’m currently 6 months postpartum and I found out the hard way that my consumption of dairy negatively impacts my little boys digestion via breast milk. I am loving the idea of the vanilla cinnamon swirl but after seeing your reaction to strawberry banana I am VERY intrigued. Love your work! Keep it up, momma!

Now, I'm currently doing a program that you helped me curate based on my personal fitness goals. I don't want as much time trying figure out what to do next. I was spending 2-3hrs Everytime I went to the gym, but most of it was just figuring out what to do. Now that I have a routine I'm already seeing results! Thank you soo very much for sharing your tips, advice, and knowledge with us

I love how patient you are with the interruptions from the baby. I have 3 children and in the past remember feeling so frustrated when they would wake up while I was trying to train, you take it with so much grace congrats on that! Also congrats on not pushing too hard too soon, I feel I made that mistake particularly with my third and feel like I developed diastasis recti that may have healed had I not done abdominal work too soon. Anyway thanks for the video and congrats on your baby girl 😀

Just a quick thing. It can take up to 96 hours for an infant to process caffeine from breast milk. If she isn't sleeping well, you could cut back on your caffeine and baby will sleep more. I found out the hard way. No one told me!

I’ve heard there is a hormone in breast milk at different times of day that make you and them more or less awake. So it helps to keep the morning, afternoon and evening milks separate & feed at the right times of day if you are pumping and feeding later!
