I did for the majority of my portfolio. Aside from the fact that I don’t have the time or energy to actively manage my money, they also provide me with extras like creating a will, creating different types of accounts, handling my taxes, insurance advice and procurement, etc. For me it was worth it.

Yea I have some fun money in RH but the big majority is managed by Nancy Magaret Delony. I have scaled to 1.7 in investments and find that she is indeed worth the cost to have in my corner. I think in a bear market she is good at beating the market; in a bull market she lags a bit. But that's the point, I think.

We have a financial adviser and while I always tell my wife we should have just put all our savings in no-load index funds, he has given us advice on retirement and end of life planning that I would never have thought of. He has close relationships with tax lawyers and his own firm's compliance department, so we benefit from that too.

In my mind the price action on Thursday, when commodities were sold, was a signal that the FED will cut next week. The shorts needed a chance to cover and they get inside information, so used the economic news of the day as a catalyst. I expect we will get another leg down on the Sunday/Monday open.

It’s funny, last night had a conversation with friends about this. My response to him……. I found a frame poster of a Canadian centennial 1967 coins collection. I modified adding some coins that I have, still have to buy. The finished product would have 2 sets of 1858 1c 5c 10c and 20c at the top on each side. Completed the set including the 20-10-5 dollar goal coins. Then over the 1 dollar bill, I want to add a 1000 dollar bill x 3 if I can find them.
