These crusaders are very weak and pathetic compared to the first and third crusades

Didn't they say they tried to 'Cut the snakes head off' in Egypt or something? And then Frederik Barbarossa drowned? Or is that later?
@CrusaderMapper Жыл бұрын
Frederick Barbarossa drowned during the Third Crusade in June 1190, and during that same crusade Richard the Lionheart had started to envision that the only way to defeat the Muslims was to conquer Egypt. So, the Fourth Crusade would have gone to Egypt if it hadn’t been diverted to Constantinople; finally the Fifth Crusade was able to do so. To answer your questions, yes, during the Fifth Crusade they tried to cut the snake’s head off in Egypt, but Frederick Barbarossa had drowned more than 25 years prior so he had no role in this.

I didn't like how you depicted Both of the muslims and crusaders as a one unified entity other wise good video 👍
@CrusaderMapper2 жыл бұрын
You see I didn’t want people to focus much on the Muslim states there, because during these crusades there were also civil wars and conflicts between kingdoms. Also for what I have seen other mappers also use the same color for Crusader states, just adding the borders to differentiate them.

Fair enough also some captions or writin text will be useful instead of it being in the description + thanks for responding to my comment 👍 and sorry for my bad english

@@Spinozathecat Many people tell me that, but to be honest if you look at channels such as Emperortigerstar, a very famous mapper, he almost never adds captions. I believe mapping should only show you on a map the events which you have first read or heard about in private. By the way your English is fine.

Antioch was annexed by Cilicia 1216-1219
@CrusaderMapper Жыл бұрын
Absolutely not, Antioch remained independent until 1268

@@CrusaderMapper sure about that? Never heard about war of antioch succession?

@@CrusaderMapper btw it was client state many times, so it wasn't independent until 1268
