Amazing quality and record. Felt like I was watching a SummoningSalt video. Lol. Hats off to you sir.

Thanks! Definitely wanna try to do more like this. Event Match 4 felt like a very relevant event to start off with because of all the developments that has happened lately.

Really cool video, and I like the niche you're carving out among SSBM videos altogether!! HUGE congrats on getting the W yourself! The one thing I'd recommend is to have a little more correlation between on-screen text and narration, for example at 3:02. I think these videos work the best when the narration makes complete sense on its own, and the footage acts as a complement. You do that really well in some of the later parts, tbf!

Thanks! Really happy to be done with it. Gonna remember to make sure the narration can stand on it's own legs for the future. Definitely wanna keep doing it, so happy to get some constructive feedback, makes it so much easier to improve for the future.

Love the video, great showcase of LDA's strat creation. He has a great mind for this game Loved the history explanation of all that happened this year too! both TAS and RTA and congrats on tying the 0.23 yourself!

Thanks! Really happy to see LDA actually commenting a bunch on his 0.46, couldn't have gotten it without that. I was planing on releasing this before I got the run, but I got the run before I had set the time for it to get up (the video had rendered and everything, so I took it down to get it in, felt fitting).

Love learning about the history of people competing to get yoshi to kill himself the fastest
@Vikingja21 күн бұрын
Hehe, the old strat you actually had to get the kill with a backthrow tho. But yeah, most of the runs here (and even the optimal) is for Yoshi to kill himself.

Really cool video mate. Hope to see more of these history videos in the future, even though I know they take a lot of time to make. Really interesting and fun watch. :)

There will definitely be more, but yeah, it's probably gonna be a while till the next one.

Thanks! A lot of fun putting it together. Getting the runs here wasn't always the most fun tho, such a tedious grind.

Thanks! Definitely wanna make more stuff like this. At least we know these days that it's possible to get it. Kinda hard to put something we don't know for sure in the history books.

That one's going to DarkEmperor for getting the 0.23 first. Guess both LDA and me deserves it for our 0.46 and 0.43.

Genuine question from a casual: how would Master Hand glitch even be possible? Wouldn't that require a player 3 port? I'm pretty sure that's not possible to use in Event Matches since it is single player...
@Vikingja22 күн бұрын
Great question, I've actually never done the Master Hand Glitch myself (until now). So I did a little research and tried it out, tried with port 1 and 3 (and both worked, pretty easy to do actually). First step is to have 1 name in the "name entry" (it makes it so it lines up well for the next step). Second step is to press a and b at the same time to choose a name/tag (here you also need to hold b, important). The reason you press a is to open the list and the reason you press and hold b is so you can exit. Final step is to time an a press when you have opened up the name entry list you need to press a on "name entry" at the same time as the game would exit you from the character select screen (which is why holding b is important). I don't know why this is possible on both ports (and it's probably possible with all ports), but it works. This should also only work on certain events (the ones where you can choose the character, which is roughly half of them). Hope this makes everything more clear, and I hope you enjoyed the journey of Event Match 4!
