"What do you see as kind of the biggest infringment on gun rights" I'm torn between the 4473 background check system, and taxes. Everyone who legally buys a firearm from a dealer is subjected to the backgroundcheck/registration. Everyone. And its the basis of knowing who has what, whats being sold, and the key to saying "no, you can't have one". And everyone who pays a tax on their right not only has had their right turned into a privellege, but they've been forced to fund the very tyrants who are infringeing upon their rights As far as Texas, the biggest concern is urbanization. Everything is growing, cities are expanding, rural areas being erased. Austin and the other blue cities damn near already control the state, urbanize a little more, drive people to collectivist ideals by crowding them together all the time, it won't be long until Texas is a blue anti-freedom state

This is a really useful conversation. It's one thing to complain about government overreach, its another to sit down and talk about the nuts and bolts of it. That conversation is where normal people realize "hey, that reaches me". I live in Illinois and am directly impacted by their constant struggle to take regular old guns from regular old people. The other important point is that something is legal, until a law makes it illegal. My sons are in their teens and their generation has been raised with a government that is out of hand, and they see that as the norm, not as a violation of trust, a violation of the limitations on governance imposed by the constitution. Teaching young minds that they deserve freedom rather than manipulation and management will be a big task.

I don’t go to the range as much as I used to, but I used to be there a few times a week and there was an old man who came to pick up brass and shoot the shit. Our conversations started with him saying some pretty fuddy stuff. Then his disdain for the government and Vietnam history came up after a while. A couple months later he showed up to the range with a rifle instead of a bucket. Turns out he sold a few old rifles that hadn’t been shot in over a decade along with a shit load of brass that he was never going to get around to reloading or shooting and bought a really nice ar-15 with modern optics, a laser, a flashlight, and a plate carrier with rifle plates. He said just in case. The conversation has shifted. There are definitely less Fudds than there used to be, but some of them are seeing the light and waking up to the modern age. They’re one of the few gun organizations I donate to because unlike the nra they don’t compromise.

How do you know when a politician is lying, their lips are moving. Brandon Herrera aims to change that. A vote for Brandon Herrera is a vote for truth.

Great watch and touched on many great points. I just hope CA citizens and citizens in other states get their 2A rights respected again. Getting tired of the legislation whiplash. Wishing you the best of luck Brandon on your campaign. We need more people like you representing the citizens. Thankfull for groups like FPC that are fighting for our rights as well.
