For car battery issues, I was once rescued by a guy who had a portable car starter battery in his car. It was a small little thing and had some clamps like jumper cables, it worked like a charm. I have since purchased one for myself and have even helped rescue someone with a dead battery in a parking lot. It recharges by plugging it into a regular socket! I'd highly recommend getting one, they're not too expensive and can really come in handy. They can also be used to recharge phones and power laptops in a pinch!

That's one of my favorite things to took, home made ravioli or tortolini. I don't have a pasta machine, I just use a rolling pin on cooled marble, but it's always scrumptious. My favorite is pumpkin and ricotta in a browned sage butter sauce with a dusting of reggiano. And a salad with fresh pea shoots and mint. It's one of those lovely summer dishes that strangely never leaves any leftovers! I wish everyone would try making some, it's not at all as intimidating as many picture it, it's in fact not difficult at all just a little fiddly. If yoi don't have a machine, including a bit of regulat wheat flour with your durum helps make it more workable. Try it! Perfectly fresh pasta is very hard to beat. However, if you are serving a real crowd, you need someone stationed at the stove cooking it carefully in small batches, that's the only thing to bear in mind. Nice to see you all preparing for the upcoming season of garden bounties! ❤❤❤
