honestly it’s not the worst move. even though they look at you, they will eventually go investigate it (for some reason?) meaning the guard WOULD eventually look away. He didn’t really have another way to get past, other than perhaps a bullet distraction from farther down the hall he came from, so I can understand his thought process.

What I adore about Hitman HORSE is the moments like the last contract where completely different runs manage to blow the minds of the other. Atrioc figured out a wild trick that made his run the absolute fastest, but Linkus’s run still taught him tricks he never considered to add to the Hitman toolbelt. The depth that the speedrunners find in this game is endless.
