I'll say this. The Finals has to step down a Season and work on bug fixes, optimization, glitches, just do a Health Update, while bringing the new cosmetics to the game, no maps, no gamemodes, no weapons, nothing, at least for a Season.

Here’s my little idea: Have a 5v5 mode (or just do this in Powershift) or a 3v3v3v3 mode where everyone has the same loud out and class. Then it rotates every minute or round or however. I think this would be good for new players to learn everything. Also a mode without lights would be good for new players to learn the game and what’s so fun about it without getting one shot back stabbed by an invisible tiny person.

Also I disagree with what you said for tournaments. I prefer World Tour not because of the rewards but because it is a very different experience to Ranked. Ranked is much more competitive and has no game events. While World Tour is slightly more casual, has game events, and has those sponsor modifiers that used to only be in the last week of each sponsor but now seems to be every week or the last two weeks.

I want to see the standard world tour mode use quick cash and ranked be the tournament mode. World Tour right now exists as the "casual tournament" mode which is kind of an oxymoron. It would make it faster to earn the rewards and free up some space for additional game modes

9:16 lmao... Anyway, 3v3 ranked cashout is the only way to go... If they don't go that route in S6, if only as an experiment, I'm not sure why Embark hates their ranked community so much... Also, they need to up the rewards for ranked over WT... Also, I predict players would revolt if they tried to shut down WT, the same way they did when Embark announced they were removing Bank It. Also, it would be a way to keep the 3v3v3v3 format for the players that would otherwise complain about it being removed completely... This is too long, but for anyone patient enough... regarding more ranked rewards, I have had this concept for a bit now, which is that, just like WT has the "Sponsor Showdown" at the end of the season (which they need to fix from S4, imho), in the ranked mode, with 2-4 wks left in the season, the existing ruby and existing diamond players get assigned to their own special events where they are divided up evenly into 3 sponsored teams. Then collectively, the ranked players contribute individually to their sponsored team's totals. Or some variation on that (hopefully not too complicated, of course). Then ranked players would also be playing for those bonus rewards for the season. Heck, now that I think about it, just extend similar events to platinum and gold tiers, too. Presumably more players in those tiers, which would make it even easier to implement. Longer queue times? Probably? But maybe it's an interesting enough incentive that (a) players will understand and (b) more players will be playing which would actually help with matchmaking. Either way, that would also be a good experiment to see how players like a closer but longer matchmaking process. So, the idea is basically that each player who contributes sufficiently to their sponsored team's performance get rewards, but all the meaningful contributors to the top team should get something special on top of the gold, plat, diamond, and ruby rewards that they were going to get at the end of the season anyway. Finally, it doesn't seem like it should be too difficult to incorporate, since Embark has already implemented similar systems for WT and career mode at this point. Not a prediction, just a thought.

So you would play wt over ranked and so would I, but there are plenty of people looking for a more competitive mode to be in the game. And 3v3 would be the way to do it. There are competitive modes for games a lot less visually appealing than finals anyways, people would care if just you wouldn’t be one of them. The game would be better off taking care of its competitive and casual player bases like he said.

For QoL stuff, I'd like to see them make guardian turret less clunky and more snappy to use, although that's probably not gonna happen. As for something more realistic, a new specialization for either light or medium would be cool, heavy is the only one with 4 so far. Edit: this is wishful thinking, but imagine a manual artillery turret for medium that lasts a couple seconds or until destroyed, and a cloning device for light so you can fool enemies with it

Got that idea for a gadget, Idk which class maybe medium more since it's the more utility of the bunch. Like the light stungun a one time use thingy that throw some fire. Like a quick flaming spray that able to instant explose gaz as well à burn goo and do some damage maybe. Something that is really quick but don't do much dmg in short range. I feels like there isn't enough way to counter gaz other than the flamethrower... and even if you play heavy high chance you're not even playing it.

@Chips__ Yeah kind of, but pyro are... weird in terms of coutering gaz. Like maybe you don't want to burn the ground and just get rid of the gaz. Or maybe you want it gone instantly. Pyro tend to explode gaz after a second or two , sometimes the gaz is just a little bit too high and it doesn't work at all. My exemple here is like the flamethrower. It counter gaz in a very specific way that pyronade don't...

I'm in diamond ranked and i play cross play on, and literally every demon is a console player with aim assist or the xim adapter in mouse and keyboard, these people are insane beamers and lobbies with steam only are still challenging but you don't have this insane beaming. Point being, if they add official mouse and keyboard support they better turn off that aim assist ahhh

I see it the same way as you. Yesterday I was matched almost exclusively against Ruby and Diamond in ranked mode. And 80 percent of them were controller players. I sometimes thought they were hacking because I couldn't be killed so quickly by any mouse and keyboard player. Something has to be happening.

Aim assist Sensitivity Tracking Target Tracking Zoom Snapping(biggest help of them all which literally helps you aim closer to the head when zooming in) MnK don't get these features. If they do, THAT, would be the unfair advantage. No ones fighting. Just a statement.

I cannot stop visualizing since WT was launched that by WORLD TOUR would mean constant changes and gamemodes instead of Tournaments with MINOR effects. Personally love the finals, best fps shooter sense halo 3. Definitely deserves more love. My only critiques are the cosmetics and skins are mid, especially when it comes to ranked and world tour. After getting the Fcar dimond skin I've lost all incentive to play ranked or would tour, unless for casual play. A lot of grinding for practically the same thing. Not to mention most of the gun skins are practically useless every season if they are not a weapon you specialize in. Disappointing, The Finals has such a unique style and I feel as though their fumbling the bag. Map suggestion: Carnival during the night with lights 3 sections of map 1 section takes up 2 4ths of map. This section has all the rides and ferris wheel that's able to be broken, that tears through the map. Creating new terrain. 2nd section food court, other things along those lines 3rd section/ aquarium

I'd say keep WT and get rid of Ranked. lol. I really don't enjoy ranked at all. There are significant difference for a casual guy like me. In WT, you don't have wipe penalties and you can pull from your reserves during deaths. This makes it so I can pivot strategy mid round and not between rounds. Plus, I can't stand solo-q in ranked. This is probably a personal flaw, but I always blame RS loss on the other players. Like getting paired with two lights that don't play the objective? Or the other day I was paired with a heavy that literally didn't know how to sprint. He walked the entire match, never hitting the shift key. This makes losing RS painful, whereas in WT, I just let it roll off my shoulder because I've only lost time, not rank.

I thought of embark doing ranked from 3-1 with different skins for diamond and merg emerald into ranked. Although it is for the casual players. Those who want that feel of ranked but don’t get penalized for losing. All you have to do is just play enough and you’ll hit emerald 1 . Season 3 emerald was tough, but I enjoyed getting 75 wins before they nerfed it for the cry babies . ( again, causal players)

I think in World tour, they will start having weeks were you play Power Shift or Terminal Attack with modifier compared to the normal mode. I think the devs said WT was their most popular mode too, so I doubt they will remove it. i have 300 hours on the game. and i personally think it lacks of balanced classes and the movement is too slow, if someone hits you first you're 99% dead, there's no way to rechall if the one against you has a lil of skill. but somehow it's a finne alternative to cod unofrtunately the movement is .. pathetic, no momentum, zero literally and too slow doesn't fit with the rest

The finals isn’t a movement shooter, and the movement it has is based on carrying momentum and climbing. It’s not meant to be fast, especially with how much can be going on at once. And the ttk, your not dead if you get hit first, it can happen ye but that usually applies to lights and not as much mediums and fs not heavies.
