As a light main seeing this patch is soo great, not only is lights survivability improved by a lot with the nuke nerf, but also i can now be a help to my team in terms of movement with the gateway portals or perhaps provide scans, though i feel like stun gun and glitch is still a lot more important. So for me it is Stun, Glitch, Gateway. Also the gateway gives the cloak such a better way of moving around. Im so in love with this gadget and overall season so far. Only thing kinda setting me off is the ranked system with not knowing where you are in terms of fp. I think the matchmaking and possibility of dropping back down a rank is good, but not knowing where u are in your rank is worse than before i think. Other than that i feel like the way sniper is atm (has been since launch) kinda sucks, cuz pretty much everyone using it is just roofcamping somewhere and in most cases just griefs other teams while being just very little to no use at all for the own team. I know that is literally what a sniper is supposed to be doing (as in camping somewhere dealing lots of damage from afar) but i feel like it's just not healthy to the way this game works... This is especially annoying in ranked and the new gamemode.

i think eventually they'll drop a new sniper, either with explosive mag or just a slower but more deadly one. but yeah i think there should be a way to quickscope in game,people that fear quickscoping should understand that in this game specifically could work in a balanced way since snipers will have less health than in other games (prime COD for example)

In my opinion removing the scanning gadget from medium to light was a terrible idea, think about it: lights can turn invisible no problem, but give them the item that can counter that is easily unfair.

Actually looks like a buff for FCAR no? Decreasing the damage falloff modifier means the gun looses less damage at the long ranges. So a buff for long distance usage.

Honestly hate what competitive games have turned into. Bunch of average players trying to be Tsmimperialhal and acting accordingly in game and online “nerf this! Buff that!” It’s an endless cycle no one’s ever pleased. I blame skill based matchmaking for turning casual competitive gameplay into esports. I know that was random as fuck (also I’m aware games were extra competitive in the past as well but not to this extent)

There isn't a better counter, unless you count "shoot at it and hope it explodes before it's launched at you and explodes." Recon removed is amazing but straight up removing the nukes? They are are more dangerous to the user than they are to the enemy already(they will one shot you as heavy if you dont walk backwards after throwing). The only thing i agree with is decreasing barrel health. Them removing nukes removes the last interest and fun barrel interaction. They already removed the fun stuff like grappling to barrels and riding on them, they got to let us keep something. (Seriously whats the point in preventing a light from grappling a barrel that shit was fun and not super strong). Also please buff the fun weapons(sledg, flamethrower, chinalake, fucking sniper, and more).

As a light on console it's always fun seeing us gettin all the love XD I mean heavies got the motion sensor which is awful and we get the mediums sonar grenades and tracking dart. Soon only other lights will be able to track me when cloaked! Oh and whatever that grav grenade is for the heavy is pretty...I mean hey if you use it in a hyper specific situation it might work?

Why tf did medium get hit so hard.. Lost abilities and the full-auto guns got nerfed. I just started maining the damn class lmao. If Defibs take longer to implement and 3 whole seconds to spawn a teammate, i might as well revive normally and get him full health.. And for the AKM, Starting Damage dropoff went from 35 metres to 30 metres?? The AKM is an 'Assault' rifle that should excel at medium/slightly far ranges.. Don't kneecap it so that it behaves like an smg. Also question.. isn't the max damage dropoff going from 67.5% to 55% a good thing? Like less damage reduction at longer ranged targets? Edit : This is just me ranting.. I usually prefer balance changes as it shakes up the game for the better(At least i hope it will)..

imo cloaking it still has a catch tho is a light, their hp very low and with that specialization it mean they doesn't hav movement skills. While recon, it just show everybody location (thats broken) also he said on the video that embark gonna rework it and has chance turn it back soon

@@wildanpc it was broken Recon, same as Cloaking! No way you can ALWAYS avoid being seen lol its the same thing. recon saw everyone from intire map, Cloaking hides from everyone intire map. One thing is portals and Dashs to run, but invisibility is very annoying!

These people don't know how to play lights at all, so it's exactly them who are the reason for the buffs light gets. Yeah light is pretty busted, sadly not gonna change. But more fun for me! Just not my heavy playing friend...or the medium who got good with sonar and tracker dart. Now lights get the counter to lights!
