There’s always some idiot moaning about time on these videos. It’s about quality. I’m yet to meet a brickie who can lay 1000 bricks a day but thousands who say they can. A few line rats that get close but it mostly looks horrendous. Top quality work Rob 👍

Tiles have a natural curve in them so tapping them level doesn’t necessarily make them level does it?
@alecmay13296 жыл бұрын
dazza944 so do a lot of types of bricks have a curve in them of course tapping them makes them level. Notice how he levels them both ways you are right though you don’t really ever give a real flat tile but that adds to the finished effect 👍

Hi Rob your work is absolutely beautiful, believe me I'm not being funny asking this but I find hard to do pretty much everything fast in life , But how do u find it pay taking your time, Unless people are after specialist brickwork which yours is unreal m8
@robsonger16 жыл бұрын
Hello Jack, the job I was doing before the summer was great, beautiful brickwork in a great location and a lot of detail, so everything was day work but we did work for our pay. Now though, I happy doing standard work and I guess I average 500+ a day and the money is better than the previous place. So I'm happy....always thank you again for watching. oh yes, click on Community (top of the page) and you can see a little of my day to day stuff.

I bet being a brickie you've a scaffold spanner to go with that Stabila bubble, love watching your work but being a scaffolder by trade you brickies and your general pissing around with scaffold structures is the bane of my working life.
@robsonger18 жыл бұрын
ha...actually, I don't have a scaffold spanner...we just work with what we have. Generally our scaffolds are pretty good..when they aren't... we work around them thank you for watching

easier to butter the long side of the next brick then trying to throw it on the side of the other brick when you were going over the arch.
