My Granddad did run into that fire and he did not leave on Dec 4 1959. He was Captain Charles Weatherby, Morningside station, Pittsfield, MA.

How much inspiration it has given me how many times its reminded me why I do what I do how many times its picked me up by my boot straps and put me back on the right track mentally. Whenever I hear this I only think of the West Webster Tragedy and how much of an impact it had on my life. As a volunteer firefighter from about 30 mins from West Webster, and the same age as Tomasz, it reaffirmed my passion for the service. It's amazing how the brotherhood works

Very touching song, I would explain this why heroes or our heroes don't wear capes, books that are fake and have heroes in them would wear a cape or not. Firefighters risk there lives to save us, the fire bell rings. The firefighters get up and get there gear on responding in there trucks. Arriving on scene, searching, putting out the fire, overhaul and other stuffs. Ok I'm done I don't wanna get into a argument.
