I like firefly on it's own, I think it's a really nice affordable combo. Some of the additional mixes, like with clown, I don't like how gritty the pattern gets. As you were going I was thinking "I wonder if it does anything with banana" and there you go! That's a nice mix! Hmm wonder how that'd be with pied. Well, I wonder how a lot of things would be with pied. And of course the freeway is a stunner!

The Firefly Clown is adorable and I love his head! The Firefly SK Axanthic is one of my favorites. Such an interesting high potential morph. Would you ever consider featuring the Micro Scale Ball Python?

Yes you can breed all year long but I like to keep regular seasons so I'm not chasing pregnant females all year long.

You should of looked up lone star Reptiles line of fire for this it almost looks like dg it's so gorgeous plan on getting a firefly from them to get in my projects definitely remind me why I want to get a LSR firefly in my supper pastel clowns

Chris, would you explain to us newbies- what the common terminologies in regards to genes& morphs mean? examples : dominant, co-dominant, allelic, recessive, Het, Hypo, etc. Also, do we need to worry about the rodents getting mites, or lice/ fleas.?

I just bought a Firefly female! She’s gorgeous! I put her in her enclosure and let her be for 3-4 days....other than misting and temp checks. She still seems very aggressive and coils into her strike position. Any advice? She is only 3 weeks old and I know younger tend to strike more, but I want to create a bond and attempt to hold. When would you advise to start doing that, I don’t want to rush her, but also not allow her to continue to dominate me. Any advice works! Love your videos!

She is still stuck, hoping she will pass them naturally. I've never heard of anyone just waiting for them to pass, I'm hoping for the best. Still trying to massage them out a little at a time but so far no luck. It's my first really stuck eggs.

Hey Chris, we are huge fans. We have a couple breeding questions if you get time please let us know. (We have a female that is 1800g and is a proven breeder that laid 5 eggs previously, we were told. We want to start breeding her in a couple weeks. How often is acceptable to feed her a medium F/t rat?)

I'd offer twice a week for a female going into a breeding cycle, at least until she looks super fat, then I'd cut back to once a week.

Two eggs still stuck and over a foot from the vent, not sure I'll be able to get them out. I'm hoping she will absorb them or pass them naturally.

@@ChrisHardwickanimaladventures I know you're probably trying to not go to the vet, especially with everything that's going on however if you do go to the vet they can give her an injection of pitocin, which is oxytocin that will restart the contractions and help her pass them naturally. That's also a much less expensive alternative to any other procedure that they may recommend. You may have already been aware of this but just in case I figured it was worth mentioning. Best of luck to you brother I hope things turn out in a positive way.
