I love how the developers have changed how to ypgrading to next level works. I think it’s so much more interactive and realistic. I also love how they have fixed the road mechanics. So beautiful and looks satisfying. They really paid attention to what was not working and the mods that counteracted the fall back.

→ 2:31 Seeing that the road building tool shows all the angles, why are you still constructing the 45° angles manually? Is there no snapping to 45° angle, or is this just "tradition"? → 20:20 Due to the "no left turns", now it looks like from the clinic you can't get towards most of the city (towards Woodland street, including the industrial area) at all without making a big detour?

My biggest wish is that when Cities Skylines launches you will start with a new city and most importantly stick with that city...ideally for a very long time. With the huge map and regular DLCs, this could be a great project to completely expand a map over months (years?) and create the perfect city/map/cities.

Hopefully, elevation contour lines will be added ASAP. Having natural resource maps available when the map starts (rather than having to wait until after Milestone #4 had been reached) would also be useful, if only to prevent inadvertent construction(s) applied before Milestone #4..

What I think I'm liking most about CS2 so far is just how much freedom we have to play with. From the like $500k we have to start with, to the road connections we can do. It just feels more free and not as stressful as it was in CS1. In CS1 you started with like $60/75k based on the map, I think? Which felt very limited. Especially when it came to trying to design things without installing mods and what not. I'm glad with how this game build looks so far. I can't wait for it to come out and spend hundreds of hours just trying to figure out road layouts. I also love the amount of minor details have been added to the game, like the chirps! Some of them can be quite funny. :P

The roadbuilding tools in this game are genuinly amazing. It's so much more even than what I was hoping for. It's like the combined force of c:s1 with all the road buildings mods, but even better and definitely more streamlined and a lot easier to work with. Can't wait to buy this game and spend hours building infrastructure

I still wish they implemented a road construction factor I think that would be cool! Especially if maintenance is needed maybe you could pick roads to close at certain times i feel like it could be an interesting factor to ad! Like storms could have trees block roads, snow or colder weather could require salting/ plows ect.
