I’m gonna clear up the main concern y’all have. this is the correct video for dumpster wizard. the first time he did the “you’re looking to enter” bit was tntl #22. he established the full character in tntl #25. also, the chosen’s second appearance was the darts video. his first was the blackjack. and the sarah christ/redacted therapist episode was after both of their funeral appearances. thank you so much for watching!!!

honestly shayne and courtney have both said the first appearance of Brianna Boho and her series of parody docuseries really formed modern smosh's character crossovers and lore. courtney really went for it in writing and performing it, which then inspired shayne with Jordan and the most annoying kid series and other characters, and all of that probably opened the door for Main channel characters to crossovers to Games and Pit videos, which now consists in the forming of characters in those channels originally

The only good thing that came from defy is the cast they hired. Noah and Keith are super solid, Olivia has her moments but, Shayne and Courtney became the absolute backbone of Smosh after Anthony left and have set the groundwork for what people refer to now as “Smosh lore” imo. Them along with most of the new cast are absolute stars in their own right. Shayne being responsible for bringing on Damien has panned out incredibly as well, especially given that he seems to be finding his voice and optimizing his abilities being a DM on the smosh games’ channel. Ian’s best quality it seems like is being able to see and acquire talent because Shayne, Courtney, Angela, Amanda, Arasha, Damien feel like they have the talent to really carry smosh into its next evolution. Chanse is an incredible yes and-er, Noah brings just the right twinge of quick wit and a little irreverence to the table and I feel like Tommy may have some untapped potential as a joke writer that I’d like to see fleshed out in sketch. Ian and Anthony have the opportunity to evolve into curators with the group they have.

Courtney and Shayne are great character creators. Amanda is definitely great. Hopefully Angela and Arasha have their breakout character one day. Chosen is the GOAT of Smosh. Its definitely at a point where it should be for once a year for nostalgia. But itll be tough to have a character so deeply ingrained into the channel like Chosen. However, it's not until TNTL #25 that he actually gives the full monologue with the premise of the joke. I think that is the one some of us are remembering as the first. That's the one where he established the full outfit as well.
