When a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the church, she encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate. “The First Omen” stars Nell Tiger Free (“Servant”), Tawkeef Barhom (“Mary Magdalene”), Sonia Braga (“Kiss of the Spider Woman”), Ralph Ineson (“The Northman”), and Bill Nighy (“Living”). The film is directed by Arkasha Stevenson (“Legion”), based on characters created by David Seltzer (“The Omen”), with a story by Ben Jacoby (“Bleed”) and a screenplay by Tim Smith & Arkasha Stevenson and Keith Thomas (“Firestarter”). The producers are David S. Goyer (“Hellraiser”) and Keith Levine (“The Night House”) and the executive producers are Tim Smith, Whitney Brown (“Rosaline”), and Gracie Wheelan.

The original Omen Triology from the 1970/80s still holds up today. Just hope this movie lives up to the standard the Triology set

Very very rarely does a prequel elevates the original to another level. This movie give me a bigger appreciation for the original omen. A very surprising and well done movie.

You know, I've always said the problem with The Omen is that it's not sexy enough. Even the Liev Schreiber remake. Actually, I have never once had that concern and yet, this looks kind of really cool. We shall see. However this turns out, this song is at least a solid jam. Calling this a solid 6.8 trailer. I'm intrigued.

It's just a song... Not strictly exclusive to that show. It was released in 2008 and Vikings in 2013. Obviously has nothing to do with Vikings...

So far nothing in this trailer makes any sense, nothing about it feels Omeny. Damien Thorn was born of a jackal, literally *a jackal*, it's one of the most disturbing twists in the original movie. If they miss or ignore that continuity detail in this one, then this isn't a prequel to "The Omen."

it looks promising...BUT... according with the 1st chapter...Damien comes from a jackal....so this prequel don't match with the original. at least if they planning 2 make remakes instead. but would be even more sinister and creepier if they fallow up the original concept hopefully will come out good....who knows.
