That birthing scene early in the film was crazy to see! On one hand nothing surprises me in films anymore, but on the other hand I was still stunned like, "What am I watching?" 😂 And then when she's being "taken"/impregnated I was even more stunned. At first I thought she was simply being possessed or something but then as I paid attention to her motions and sounds... I knew what was happening. Especially afterwards as her belly swelled with the babies. I was like holy sh*t. Lol

Love the commentary! The scene where Margaret is in the bad room and we hear the creepy whispers was absolutely terrifying in the theater. The sound design with the whispers bouncing all around you…messed me up 😂

The director fought for a whole year with the production companies because they wanted to eliminate the vagina scene, but she refused to remove it, it's kind of funny that in the end it was produced by 20th Fox and Disney 😂

Okay, I'm probably going to get some hate for this, but here goes: I'm the outlier, in that I didn't care much for this film, I didn't find it particularly scary (tense in spots, sure). Somewhat boring and slow, and this film and the original 1976 Omen always seemed too...talky talky. You know? Blocks of "expo dump," where the Church peeps give you a backstory lesson in Catholic theology...based on the Book of Revelation, which I'm convinced was written by someone who'd dropped acid. End of rant ha ha!
