You trying to talk to people at your brothers wedding is 100% relatable.

Thanks Kate & I think many people struggle with public speaking. A smile, a laugh and humour is like the filler, that will smooth over all the cracks. People will forget what you said, but most importantly, they'll remember how you made them feel or the smile you put on their faces, or the time you made them laugh. "And That's Okay." 😄😄😄

Was that the sunflower field on Hayling Island or just another place that also does it? Because I didn't think you lived quite that near me going by which CF team you seem to visit! ^^

I significantly dislike public speaking. It's just not for me. It never has been, it never will be. And that's okay. However, I do find myself having to somewhat justify that sometimes, e.g. at work where some people don't just don't seem to understand why others may not want to do presentations (or do client-facing work or be on a webcam).

'And that's okay' has served me well over the years. I use it during work discussions as well to help reaffirm the normality of my position and perspective with bosses or colleagues. I feel that my use of it in these situations helps others (a bit) to normalise certain perspectives that they may not be familiar with.
