Thanks for checking this *beast* of a video out! With all the changes happening at Marvel Studios, Gunn's new DC Universe, and Sony continually making all the wrong decisions, I'm as interested as ever in talking about these movies. So there should be MANY more like this to come! I also like to post more casually about what I'm watching on these sites: Twitter ► twitter.com/graeme_games Letterboxd ► letterboxd.com/gnoodle

I just realised how few views this video has and im shocked. I love your videos in general, but this series in particular has me so excited waiting for every upload. Almost like reliving those movies coming out for the first time again.

I cannot express how underrated your channel is! I recently found your channel and have been loving everything you do. I really like long form videos and Marvel is probably one of my most favorite things in the world. I especially love how you are able to keep a very positive tone and vibe all throughout the video! Even when you talk about the flaws you still are so upbeat and easy to listen to. I can tell how much work and effort you put into these videos and I promise you it's paying off! Never change and keep doing what you're doing!!

I just got off a 4 hour binge of Jenny Nicholson's new video on the Star Wars Hotel (great video btw!), and was left reflecting on how I record, and how I come across. I'm somewhat envious of the vibe she strikes! I worry I'm not letting enough of myself through, you know? So it's always nice to hear anyone is jamming with my vibe ;) Thank you very much!

I've been working on a review of the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy! But it's been tough to "crack". I'm trying to figure out how to shrink it down. Because as-is, I feel like I'm commenting on every single second of those films xD

This was great to listen to, finished the whole 3,5 hours in one sitting! Very well put together thoughts. Nice to see some positivity on AoU. I also never got the hate for it, but it seems like it's being treated more kindly in the recent years. I'm glad you brought up the bizarre "no kids=monster" dialogue, though. It's really uncomfortable and given what we know about Wheadon these days, it's even more uncomfortable. Overall, I think these two movies are pretty equal in quality.

So... you've finally caught back up to where you last left off. I'm excited and curious to see how you continue moving forward with this series. Because this format you've chosen of reviewing the Infinity Saga through individual duologies/trilogies is going to become a lot more complicated now that Spider-Man, GOTG, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel all have sequels that came after the Infinity Saga. I hope you don't limit yourself to much to the original plan.
@2leftframes7 ай бұрын
We finally made it! From a poll I ran a while back, the popular choice was to keep post-Infinity Saga stuff separate. I think the 1 exception is that I'll review the Spider-Man films together. Otherwise I'll be breaking them up, so anyone watching all these videos doesn't have too much whiplash jumping between pre/post Endgame.

These videos are so well done. Legit great editing, editing jokes and great commentary on the movies themselves

Nat and Bruce works for me because she has never felt like she was ever been in any real danger since her training until Hulk. I me he chased her literally and she had no real way to combat him.

Loki doesn’t need to know what Cap means. The line worked because it is Cap’s motivation.

I'm just joking around there. It's corny in a way that feels right at home in a comic book movie :)

Less than a quarter through the video and for some reason I just felt like saying maybe I’m reading into these things too much. I feel like I just sit through every movie judging them instead of enjoying the experience of watching them. Takes away the fun from movies and TV sometimes.
@2leftframes7 ай бұрын
I can relate to that! A few years back I found myself forming a bad habit of over analyzing EVERYTHING I watched, played, and read. I think making videos sort of warped how I viewed media. I still catch myself doing it from time to time. It was a conscious effort for a while to immerse in the world and story, still appreciating the craft, with attempting to form an opinion on a half-seen thing. With time, I got better at shutting the critique-brain. Then I indulge myself if it warrants a second watch ;)

Pretty sure Jane is mentioned in Ragnarok when Thor and Loki first hop back to Earth.

Right, however Ragnarok takes place after these 2 films. At least they brought her back around to the series eventually!

"First true cinematic universe." I see the Universal monsters and Toho kaiju movies are being slept on once again!
@2leftframes7 ай бұрын
I address why I don't think the Universal Monsters movie counts. I could see the Toho movies counting though! This is actually the 2nd title I gave this video. The first was "Realizing the Cinematic Universe", which I didn't feel read especially well?
@ArnLPs7 ай бұрын
Is this a re-upload? Because if so I have already seen it and would just let it play without sound so you still get the watch time, but I feel like I heard you talk about these movies already. Just not sure. Normally there is something in the description or comments about it being a re-upload...
@2leftframes7 ай бұрын
Technically, yes. But it was previously on the 2 Left Thumbs channel, and I made some "directors cut" edits to it before moving it over here. So I wanted the video to stand on it's own.
@ArnLPs7 ай бұрын
@@2leftframes I'm letting it run through so you get the watch time. I do want your channel to succeed because I like your content and I don't mind having to wait longer before the next video. But I also have a lot of other things I want to watch. KZbin content, and many shows I'm lacking behind (Eccho). Besides actual important stuff and procrastinations. Also time to spend with my gf. I got her into Point and Click, and when it comes out we're probably going to play Alice is Dead together. I remember seeing it on websites and being to stupid to get past the first riddle. But it looks like the type of game I would have wanted to make.
@2leftframes7 ай бұрын
@@ArnLPs Very cool! We've seen several people get stuck early on in Alice is Dead. The landscape of point n clicks has changed a lot since the early days of Flash. So we'll likely be making changes to smooth out that introduction to the game :)
@ArnLPs7 ай бұрын
@@2leftframes I'm exited, because I've never actually gotten through the story. It will therefore be my first time playing through it and also seeing how this uses Alice in Wonderland ideas and characters, as a giant fairytale fan. Tho we also have a catalogue of other games we still need to get through. I want to show her all of the Monkey Island games, after she already enjoyed Deponia and Edna & Harvey so much.
