I'm going to change the topic a little about Jig and Minnow fishing. Just think if it wasn't for FFS, you would not be talking about Jig and Minnow setups now. FFS has been a game changer for anglers and tackle companies. FFS has made some of these companies hundreds or thousands of dollars. Look at what the pro anglers are doing on the water and how much they weigh in now, since FFS was introduced. I could go on and on about FFS. Look at you Mikey, before FFS did you ever fish using Finesse tackle before? I can say I never fished like that until now. I am still in the learning phase. I just continue to learn from your videos as well as other videos.

yeah he used to fish finesse tackle, Dropshots,keitechs,and jerk baits are all finesse and are used without scope effectively.

I’ve been using lighter Owner Range Roller heads and different soft plastics in shallow ponds and catching them. I am basically rolling it along approximately mid to upper column across 3’-5’ deep flats and any points. The bass have been smashing them. Like, trying to take the rod out of my hands smashing them.

Just started dabbling this weekend. I feel like the bait is bobbing the head up and down 80% and only maybe 20% rolling. Is this normal I feel like something is off. Should I go heavier on head or stiffer rod? Setup: 3/64 sz2, 3.5" spunkshad, 8#fl, 6'10"MLsp.

I have some packs of drift frys. What’s your suggestions on rigging them up? Because they have that front bill would a hover rig hook be the key?

Hover hook works but I also put them on a ball head jig they have a guide hole in the nose that you use and it lines up perfect
