Thanks for sharing. Y'all caught more fish that day than I have all last year from the bank. Please keep the action coming for us!

I fish from the bank all the time and I catch plenty fish, met my limit quite a few times…

You gotta find some better shore spots. It’s totally achievable to have great days shore fishing.

Are you going down river? The water you were fishing was beautiful. Enjoy your videos thanks for sharing them with us.

That looked like an absolute blast. I use to fish only Venice. But for now and the past two years have moved to Shell Beach. Really some nice bass there. Thanks as always for the video. Enjoyed.

Hey Todd I think the reason the bass were so turned on was the weather event you spoke of in the beginning of this video. The upcoming cold snaps (1/16 & 17) and again on (1/19 & 20). Calorie overload (gorging) before aforementioned front.

On one of your next videos could you briefly describe the tagging program that you participate in.

That definitely makes that long drive from Harahan to Venice worth it. Wow!! I heard you say tagging the weight is a must what does that mean? Holding it close to the bait with something? Good video!!! Kelly
@johnfontenot7861 Жыл бұрын
Pegging the weight means putting something like a tooth pick in hole thru the weight along side the line to keep it from sliding on the line. I know there are other things used for that but i dont know what they are called.

How. Long has it been taking you to get down there? What time have you been leaving? We hit that plant traffic a couple weeks ago so we left later in the morning last time.

Keep an eye on the river level. It just started a jump but is forecast to decline again.

There are a surprising amount of cows and bulls down there. It makes you wonder what they do when a storm comes and how they stay away from the gators.

Katrina pushed a 30-foot wall of water over the Venice area, and yet, in the autumn of 2005, LDWF placed trail cameras on Pass a Loutre WMA, and got pictures of deer. Nobody could explain how that was possible.

Can anyone let me know why it’s a must to peg the weight here? Fairly new to fishing and jw.
@MarshManMasson Жыл бұрын
Because you're often flipping into vegetation. If you don't peg it, the weight will fall through while the actual lure gets hung up.

Would be interesting to throw a cast net down into that big bait ball to see what it is.
