Initially I thought you said Val D’Isere! That’s a French skiing resort 😂 And the first half of the video I thought it looked like the South West Coast Path in Cornwall (which we have walked half of so far in the summer when blazing hot). I guess that’s a compliment because the scenery you took was stunning. But as it went inland I could see you were obviously in another country. Hopefully the roads/tracks are signposted 😀. Loved seeing the Friday Walking Club. They all looked fantastic ⭐️⭐️. Despite the heat, spirits looked high. And I am very jealous you had a hotel and a pool to relax in after a days walking. As opposed to a campsite in Cornwall although I always love finding them as well. A great relief as long as they have a shower. Good look on your Day 6 tomorrow. I will have to go back to start to see what you are doing properly. Thank you for the video(s) and the fun you enjoy and create. Maybe we will follow in your footsteps one day ❤

Hi Lone Ranger - Sorry for the reply. The Fishermans Way is fantastic, However the South West Coast Path looks a different challenge. How are you finding it. We have not hiked any of it 🙂 cheers Dave Barbara

@@hikingwithdaveandbarbara8629 Hi. Yes it certainly different. 630 miles from Minehead to Poole! So far we have made it to Pendeen in stages over 3 trips lasting about a week each in the summer. So we travel down there, leave the car and walk along the coast for 5-7 days, travelling between 13 to 24 miles a day. Some of the shorter stages are even more challenging going up and down the cliffs a lot but the scenery is so rewarding. Staying in campsites sometimes off the trail a mile or so. But it couldn’t get more spectacular. Sometimes walking alongside holidaymakers along the beautiful beaches. It’s hard work but worth it 😀
