For me I went into this movie knowing the story wasn't going to be that good. As a fan of the games I'm just glad it exists at all and it was good enough for what I wanted it to be

I enjoyed it. So far ive found more people being very overly critical of the movie. Then ending does set it up for the next 2 movies. Since Lillard is signed up for a three movie deal.

This was the best horror film I have seen that was released in the last 30 years. What a surprise. The biggest strength was the non horror side of the plot with the main character struggling in real life which added emotional investment to the horror scenes. The choice to use puppets instead of CGI was a masterful one and makes this movie worth watching just for the art direction.

well the reason that the script is off is because the acal game lore and the games themselves are sometimes off the rails, also the god father of the games looked over the acal script so what are you gonna say now
