Unrelated but still kinda cool, someone made an analysis awhile ago. The episode when barry went to the future to see himself, when future barry saw present barry from behind he said "why are you here". Then he took a step closer to see barry and said "your before when she dies arent you". Meaning before future barry took a step closer he didnt know it was past barry. He thought it was someone else from behind. Its very possible for a second he thought past barry was time remnant Barry aka savitar. There haircuts are the same time remnant barry is just messier in the front.

They foreshadowed Barry going to prison since season 1 when he ran back in time to save his mom, we saw flashes of the future, caitlyn as killer frost and Barry in a gray prison uniform talking to someone through a phone between prison glass

I think the biggest reason why Barry doesn't run and why he doesn't reveal he's the Flash is because he Trusts his team to figure it out. I think in the split second when the police are breaking down the door he realizes that running would making him look worse and only ruin what little semblence of innocence he actually has but if he maintains his innocence and plays his cards right then his team will figure out how to clear his name and free him.

Due to the fact that he (and all the other speedsters with the exception of Bart Allen) is connected to the Speed Force, he actually ages slower than normal humans. The time traveling does not interfere with this.

You can tell that Don doesn't really pay attention to anything he sees or hears in episodes. DeVoe is exceptionally lucky that Joe doesn't have it in him. If he had taken Jesse, Harry would not have cared about him being in a wheelchair you want to play big bad expect to be treated as big bad. Since he has said he's ending after this season and even if he does watch season 5. No chance he will get to the second time. This is one of two times Joe screws up and could have stopped a problem from not happening to begin with. The second comes much later and is the dumbest Joe West moment of the entire show.

Once you consider Barry's options with DeVoe's body, none of them are good. He either leaves the scene as is, and leaves his fate in the hands of the justice system, which DeVoe is smart enough to have evidence to manipulate to his favour; or he cleans up the body, the circumstances of the restraining order and fact they were called to his apartment are more than enough for a jury to convict Barry; shy of DeVoe doing a Thawne and pre-recording a full confession. If he doesn't use his speed, he's left holding the knife, which again, more ammo against a blatantly guilty man, if he DOES, the gusts caused by his running will IMMEDIATELY point the police towards the Flash being involved in DeVoe's murder. There is no positive outcome for Barry in this scenario... his plan of don't run is actually the smart one.

no, he has at least 8 seconds before the police knock on the door(i went back and re-watched the scene right now to make sure) and around 15 before the police break in, there is literally zero reason why the 8 seconds alone(let alone the 15) is not enough for him to clean up the body + all the evidence + if there's no evidence how are they going to convict him, also with the 'gusts caused by his running' he can easily just go outside through the window when getting rid of everything or phase into another apartment and run out through there
