They stabilized him so he isn't catatonic anymore and his black holes are no longer out of control, but after he came out of the pod thing (several episodes later), those powers were never mentioned again. Although his power is to open portals to a pocket dimension, so I don't know if there is any way they could make use of it.

The Iris thing wasn't that cause of the timeloop...... The time loop was caused Barry's lightning interacting with the mini particular accelerator causing Barry's tachyons to go all crazy. It was stopped when Barry phased and rewinded time to stop the nuke.

5:05 that's just Barry's PTSD talking though. After everything he's lost (after he almost lost Iris quite a few times, and so many others too over the course of 9 seasons), he wants to ensure a perfect future, and he thinks Iris would want that too (and she does, but she rightfully sees it as being trapped in a story with no agency, while Barry would be happy to never have to alter the timeline again)). Barry tends to get ahead of himself and make hasty decisions without consulting anyone else, so imo this is perfectly in character for him.

@@TheBlackLion001 yeah in season 6a I thought he was pretty good like he seemed slightly more competent in his job like Bloodwork was a compelling villain with an understandable motivation for what he does, and the cinematography was very great especially the horror like element to it but after that the writing along with the show went downhill. They replaced a very great villain with a bad one with Mirror Monarch.

Well considering the fact that in the last 2 seasons, all of the episodes except 2 or 3 episodes before the end of a "Graphic Novel" were fillers, this is exactly what I was expecting. It's also why I said it many times that The Flash could have easily tied up the story arcs of Legends and Batwoman if Eric Wallace wanted to, because 90% of the episodes that they do are going to be filler anyway.

Pros: +New, post-Crisis comic book accurate Captain Boomerang being introduced is good. If what people have said about Red Death is true then this seems like it'll be a stupid idea. Hopefully won't be the main villain Final season needs to end with Flash against a personal adversary Like Reverse Flash. But people will probably complain it was just done last season. Maybe but it wasn't done particularly great. Final episodes should revolve around a Flash Revenge Squad consisting of past big bads led by RF Reverse Flash Zoom And Davoe(who is Reverse Flash's new handheld AI in place of Gideon seeing how he was able to survive as an AI) Something like that. They're defeated eventually leading to a final epic showdown with Reverse Flash I know people probably will say Savitar should be apart of the group but no. It really wouldn't make sense. He wouldn't work with Reverse Flash or Zoom as he's an evil Barry who would probably never be able work with them for what they did to his parents.

Remember when in the season premieres they would all end up embracing each other and basically reintroducing the characters to the audience? Like this whole episode was off. They first "confirmed" the time loops was happening because of the thing captain boomerang was after then for no reason they "confirmed" the time loops was because Iris didn't say yes to the money but then still they continued to work on that part from the thing and even when Iris at the end said about getting to the spot in the timeline her own way still proves that her and Barry think that it was because she wasn't going with what the timeline wanted it literally made the both of them look like idiots

Literally what saves the episode is the scene of Barry with the personality of all the Wells and him regaining speed and saving the city. That last scene of the whole team together crying makes me want to throw up.
