I didnt. He was selfish and was willing to sacrifice his woman to become human again. Despite his continuous failures and his wrong doings, he was well aware of his actions and he persued them anyway which ultimatley lead to his demise. The moral of this story is, if you play with fire you will eventualy get burned. He was a prick mid movie and he was a bastered in the end. His final request was just, but well deserved. He tried to achieve his goal at any cost. That makes him dangerous. This resentment i described is highlighted in the second movie through his son. Seth Brundel, while a genius was out of control and so where those who inherited his work. I find it compleltely insane these days that you overly empathetic morons over look this. Had it been you whose arm he broke, vomited on, or draged into the teleporter to save his own life. You would be shedding tears alright. For entirely different reasons.
@swagsukeuchiha75994 жыл бұрын
@@lordraptor5042 ok first of all. Brundlefly was a completely different person than Seth. The insect part of him lacked empathy but the human part of him did and was fighting to hang onto that.

fare enough, still he broke a man arms and takes his victims girl and attempts to drag her in the teleporter, because his current girl wouldn't do it. He still knew right from wrong. In the end he suffered lack of empathy but still knew what he was doing. Only in the end did he consider blowing his head off and only in the end.

Lord Raptor thats an interesting point, how seth goes from a nice funny bloke, to a terrifying presence once his fly genes activate, in the end i dont blame him for trying to teleport Ronnie, imagine going through what he endured, slowly becoming a fly hybrid is like hell, especially with his sanity decaying, he wasn’t really fully seth by the end of the film

Rewatched this last night. As an 80’s kid, I remember really liking this. Had not seen it in ages, but with more movie maturity, I never realized how truly great this is.
