Thank you for making these videos, I am not sure if you will read this but if you do can you talk about the process of making these videos?

You're welcome! If you're referring to how I record the videos, I use a Wacom tablet with a program called Smoothdraw to write the notes, and I record the screen and camera view using Camtasia.

Is there any literature on nutrition and intelligence in China and North Korea? both countries have had mass starvation and still have above average iq's
@PsychExamReview3 жыл бұрын
I haven't looked into these specific cases but I would be curious to look at existing research or analyses that anyone can suggest. I'd be willing to bet there's been a substantial increase in China's national average over the past several decades as a result of improved nutrition. The challenge is having accurate comparison data from times when the country was closed off (as N. Korea still is) and today. Getting accurate data on less developed areas in China may be difficult today for both practical, and unfortunately, political reasons. This can be seen in the unwillingness of the Chinese government to allow publication of PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) results from all its provinces, allowing just 4 to be included in 2018. This resulted in "China" ranking first with an unrepresentative depiction of its national education system and, in my opinion, also resulted in a diminishing of the credibility of the OECD (Organization for Economic and Cooperative Development) which runs PISA.

china hasn't had starvation consistently since the 1940s. there were 3 deadly years in the 50s, but between 40s and the 70s life expectancy went from 36 to 66 years, and has only increased rapidly since then. the economy has more or less been growing massively with increased health since IQ tests have been in large scale use there.

Flynn needs to compare an 8th grade exam from 1912 to an 8th grade exam today. Tests have been being dumbed down for a long time. Most college graduates today would have flunked out of middle school a century ago.

Evolution is 'suggested' to occur over a long period of time. It's still up for debate.
