As someone who works in mental health.. I have some thoughts just to add to the convo about GH. The thing is though, if it was all an act, no one who is 100% mentally healthy would put on an act like this. It would take someone going through something mentally to do it just for attention!

As someone who has dealt with bi polar disorder my whole life, I do get annoyed when people either don’t take it seriously or use it as a marketing tool for themselves. It’s not a cute quirk. It’s harmed me. And I will have to live with it forever. Gabbie Hanna makes it seem like a joke. I’m all for normalizing mental illness, because it’s much more common than people realize. But I don’t like when people make light of it.

Gabbie is very lovely and I enjoy her singing and dancing. But while her spiritually can have insightful moments, she has a long way to go. I hope her promise to return to therapy and no longer use drugs will bring her to good health. Rachel, after listening to lovely Gabbie in the mornings your sensible remarks are very reassuring.

Honestly i don't blame Jaden for saying that. I mean who at that age 1 weren't embarrassed by their parents and 2 didn't believe what grandma and grandpa said. I mean most people look up to their grandparents while we still have them. For me personally I went to my grandma when mom hurt my feelings or was just needing someone to talk to. Sometimes we get parents that love us but don't get us or we don't get them. Our parents have their own trauma and are doing the best they know how but since we are all unique sometimes that doesn't work for us. But when you become an adult and mature (possibly get therapy and meds) you can see things in another light.

GH most likely went into a Derealization/Depersonalization episode. Because I've had DPDR for around 8 years now and it constantly makes me feel panicky. And it all started with smoking 🌿. And if I ever smoke now it makes me spiral and go into a dream like state and hallucinate. Like, if you have DPDR it's trial and error trying to find a 🌿 strain that doesn't do that. And DPDR is almost always misdiagnosed as schizophrenia. But it's caused by anxiety, depression, panic, and ADHD.

Not a mental health prof, but I do have BP. I'm confused as to how he had the BP dx without ever having a manic episode before. That is literally one of the required criteria to diagnose BP.

I felt as soon as it was ramping up to get Brittany released form the Conservatorship that Brittany needed a life coach to help her. NOT someone to control her but help her figure out how to function without 100 people doing EVERYTHING for her and deciding everything for her. And I don't think pulling her off every medication was smart either. Have a licensed Therapist who isn't connected to Jamie look at her and the medication she was on. Decide with Brittany's input what drugs she truly needs and what she can be off. Get her set up with a foundation to succeed and show the world just how wrong and cruel the conservaturtership was. I just feel like they took her out of everything being decided for her to cutting all help. They should of gotten her a good therapist, and a life coach to help guide her into being a safe person making good choices. I look at my kids, and if we hadn't given them help in how to adult properly. They would of done everything we didn't allow them to do. Like Ice cream for breakfast everyday, eat only junk food ,don't pay the electric bill because they want to buy a movie and they don't have enough for both. I'm not comparing Brittany to a child but basically taking everyday decisions and choices away from her for 13 years to then all of a sudden giving back her liberty without any education or Assistaince is just setting her up to lose AGAIN.
