In regards to that story about that girl hooking up with her boyfriends brother, once we all agree that there’s no intentional wrongdoing on the girls behalf and it’s a tricky situation for HER, I wanted to add two things. One, when I started taking anti-depressants, I had a couple of VERY unintentional blackouts after having 1-2 drinks. Once I found out about Lexapro blackouts, obviously I adjusted my approach, but that’s just a drop in the ocean compared to all of the possible circumstances that might produce an outcome where a person is unintentionally and in-ordinarily impaired. Second, all angles were covered about this girl’s involvement, but why aren’t we asking more about the brother?! He knew who it was and still continued. Not only is that extremely wrong of him to participate in and incredibly horrible to do to your brother, she didn’t even KNOW who it truly was. Did he know that she thought he was his brother? She consented to having sex with her boyfriend, not his brother. So her explanation is that she was a little too wasted and mistook one for the other, but is his explanation that he was also so wasted that he didn’t know who she was? Why wouldn’t her fiancé deserve to know that his brother knowingly and willingly had sex with his girlfriend?? And have her and her boyfriends brother ever spoken about this? Should he have stopped it from going further, if not even for it being his brothers girlfriend, but for the sole purpose that she may have been too drunk to consent? I have so many questions. But BESTIE. Please TELL YOUR THERAPIST

With you on the shitty things done by an older sibling. Mine was 3 years older and the rebel. Back in the late 80s there was a thing called a party line where you could call (charged for) and talk to strangers. My family did not have much and struggled with bills. One day my mom pulled me and my sibling into her room and asked which one of us ran up this $900 phone bill on the party line! I was probably 10 years old and had no clue what a party line was and did not do it, clearly my sibling. My poor mom was livid freaking out because it was already a huge struggle to pay the mortgage. My sibling kept saying it was me. My mom said we better agree and fess who did it and left her room. My sibling started evil laughing as I sobbed telling me that our mom would believe whatever my sibling said because she was tired of all of my siblings nonsense and was desperate to believe my sibling was reformed (hardly! Things would get much worse over the next 3 years). My mom came back in the room frantic wanted this “mystery solved” before my dad got home. My sibling said I confessed and did it. My mom started scolding me and I flipped out saying how stupid she was and she did exactly what my sibling said she would do! That was the first time my mom ever slapped me. I’m a grown ass woman now, 44 , and my mom and sibling have both apologized. But still, that’s some shit I will never forget. Totally fucked up.

I'm really shocked at the reaction to the story about the girl hooking up with her BF's brother, for someone that I've always seen as really progressive and supportive of women your approach to that story sounded real victim Blamey.. questioning her on all the why's and how's and what ifs of the situation rather than the fact that if she was too drunk to tell who she was looking at then she was too drunk to consent and the BF's brother said game on and took advantage of it instead of taking a step back and sayin hey what's up here , I think that's the real bottom line here.

Uhm yeahh 😅 so I don’t like to blow my nose with a tissue because no matter how I do it it always makes my ears pop and it hurts really bad. So I started using my finger to blow and pick out the snot and boogers. I would wipe it in a tissue than immediately wash my hands. I thought it was disgusting but it was better than getting ear pain/headaches. But eventually there was situations where my nose was stuffy and I couldn’t breathe but there was no tissue or a place to flick it. So eventually i uhm started eating it….. to me it doesn’t taste like anything at all. If I think about it then I’ll be grossed out so i just don’t think about it. And I never ever do it around people. I wait till I’m alone. It’s usually when I just wake up and my nose is all stuffy and snotty. And i brush my teeth right after. But yeah it just has become convenient….I can’t stand not being able to breathe out of my nose so its a win win for me….🤷🏼♀️ but no one in my personal life would ever know! 😂 my bf knows it hurts my ears so i have to use my finger but thats it.
