Featuring my Yamaha SA2200 (which i love), my JCR fretted bass and using a Fractal modeler for the sounds.
As always, dedicated to my dad, Sy Zucker - a bassist, my mentor and my muse. He died from covid in January 2021 and I owe him everything....

I have this guitar. I find it a bit muddy but I've been using it in the front pickup position. You have it in the middle which cleans it up nicely. I must try it! Nice playing btw.

thanks. I don't find it muddy. It's brighter than my 339, seventy seven or 335 (none which I no longer have)

Those guitars are not muddy at all, they are excellent tone wise.

My one is muddy as hell. I have owned and played lots of other guitars including solid, hollow and semi-hollow models, so I have a good basis for comparison. I have tested it on a handful of gigs, enough to know it's not really usable. I have tried various amps and EQ settings, none of which satisfactorily remedies the lack of brightness and definition. I'm selling it. You're welcome to buy it if you think I'm wrong.
