“Covered in your mother’s shawl, knowing for certain that nothing bad was ever gonna happen to you because Helio had chosen you” is a heartbreaking statement. A hurt, lost Kristen in a forest in the middle of nowhere on a suicide mission, without her spirit guardians, has such a striking contrast to that memory.

There's something so poetic about some of the little things, I was always stuck with the last moment and "only because Fabian is immune to fear..." bit cause it feels so built up and earned! Like, the audience fully understands how his eyepatch works with the previous episodes of him taking it off at his lowest point, and putting it back on at important moment for him, and then Coach Daybreak not knowing it's powers during the hell fight and now this. It's feels scripted, rule of three, set up and payoff, and yet it's not. This is so miniscule in the scope of that ending moment but it's always been one of my favorite lines

Great point but I feel like this is sort of the natural progression that a story and reality should follow. This calls to dnd being, at least here, a stream of consciousness story that evolves from Brennan's outline of a story. He might guide the story very well, but credit to all the PC's who are proficient in their characters and craft. Great story- tellers, and great story writers.

Wanted to offer an observation I think no one else would ever make; I don’t know if he does it consciously, but something I long decided to make a concerted effort to do…Brennan makes the ASL symbol for love when he points to his players…it’s such a small thing, but the ubiquity of the action and subconscious or not really, says a lot to me about the mind of this person.

The tincture maths is off! The DC was 15 to make it and 2 above makes an additional dose. The roll was 26, which is 15 (one dose) plus 5 additional doses (17, 19, 21, 23 ,25) for a total of 6 doses. I kept hoping they'd notice, but so far no one has! Hope I wasn't the only one running tincture maths in my head xD And I hope no one ends up needing that tincture they've already made! ':D

Ok the stabing was uncalled for but I get where this goddesses is coming from She tried to warn her followers she really did. "Don't do this fuckshit, you'll _unmake_ me" and what do they go and do? So many premonitions ignored, labeled heritics for even having them. Common sense cast aside to go head first into this stupid plan all unable to see that they are being played like fiddles. The ritual takes place and the obvious happens she is unmade. And what else would she feel other than betrayal and bitterness in that moment? That all her lessons would be for naught. These people worshiped the goddess of doubt and the majority of them did not doubt enough in the moments that it was needed most. I'd feel like a failure. The curses she made to protect herself from fading away are all she has left in the centuries after. She has been reduced to hatefulness passively watching as other gods are honored and exalted while she just fades away in a corner of the world. If I'm correct this is where the Nightmare King comes in, a being of malice created by this forgotten goddess. it goes against everything she once stood for but hey so did her subjects. Couple more centuries pass same old same old, and then something changes. The beginnings of a follower in some human girl begin to stir. You decide to keep a bit of an eye on her (with whatever you would call eyes at this point) Later, just beyond the reach of your strongest curse, she prays to you though she doesn't know it. Against your better judgment, you hear her out. Give her some of her spell slots back for a reason you can't quite admit to yourself. She must have had hope in Kristian to even humor her. Then she finds it: the temple where you were unmade. And for the first time you speak face to not face. You ask her why she sought you out and she answers that your whole thing about being a goddess of doubt really spoke to her. The spite this goddesses must have felt in that moment... After centuries of stagnation a genuine show of appreciation for that aspect of her must feel like a cruel joke. What probably happened here was the goddess lashing out in the form of a test of faith. "Lets see how much you believe in me now" Edit: Alright so this season was awesome and I mostly got things right. Cassandra and the Nightmare King being one in the same was something I suspected but wasn't sure on and them lashing out was more out of pain than a test of faith. The only question I have left is whether Galacia or her followers decided that Cassandra was out of line. If I had to guess, it was her followers first and then Galacia embodied their ideals.

I fucking loved this episode. The whole battle in the episodes before was truly something thanks to all the mechanics and the callbacks to the first campaign,but here everyone did splendidly. You can tell the more they go on and on with the adventure, they're legit scared,worried, cautious. The cliffhangers are also placed in a way that can only make you want to see the next one and then the next as soon as possible,truly a wonderful work on Brennan's side. Kudos to you all
