When modded the 360 becomes unbeatable. I have a JTAG with a tb HDD. Running Aurora firmware. Basically it's operating on Linux. It will not only play 360 but emulate everything in between. Coin op 80s video games up to 360. I'm not sure if PS5 jailbreak does all that yet. One thing I would say is. You don't get a 4k UHD Blu-ray with a 360e

Xbox 360 will forever be my favorite system, and I’ve been playing since the Atari days. There will never be another like it. Yeah the new systems are high powered with realistic graphics, but they just don’t compare.

I like the paint on the skin. Great teardown! I have this console as well. I got a one s and this console for $60 bucks from someone. I had the One S sent in for motherboard replacement and that works well now. I got the 360 E but I am not sure if it works. I need to test it with a power supply.

I also have 1500 360 games on a master HDD. And I have a 1tb HDD that connects to my Xk3y that it boots game exe. files from. You can only have 99 games in the game folder at one time. I just copy the games across and delete when completed. I haven't played Xbox regularly for years. Am mostly on PS5 now. Looking to get a second hand digital edition and jailbreak it at some point. Add to my modded collection.

With the Xbox Marketplace being shut down, it would be really interesting to see how one of these systems fare with an RGH. Thought about getting one of these later revisions, but I guess the issue is finding one that is RGH compatible.

almost all 360's are rgh compatible tbh its just the 360 E's produced after 2014 have the Winchester board that aren't moddable

I don't know if it's important, but you can still buy games (not all of them) through Microsoft's website and then simply download them to your console 😂😂

Xbox 360 will always be my favourite console I think. I'm up to 53 physical games complete with manuals and all that stuff when they came with them and I still love firing up the system. I have my collection separated into backwards compatible titles for my Series X and the non-backwards compatible games which I play on the MW 3 edition console, it always takes me to a happy place. I should probably get another 360 so I don't have to use the special edition console so much and preserve it since it's in excellent condition.

I just got a PS4 Pro, traded for my old iPhone XR. I'm planning to get a Xbox 360E with some games and I see that it is priced at like 50€... extremely cheap for what you actually get. I think I'll build some pretty nice library for it.

Second gen 360e couldn't be modded. It also had less connection sockets. Including lack of optical. The pinnacle of 360 was the Slim. The e being only marginally quieter. There is otherwise no difference in the components used. I still have my 360 Slim XK3Y (with remote). Good video, congratulations on successfully repairing and refurbishing.

Super awesome custom job, why not match it with a internal hard mod? This 360 E happens to be one of the lucky ones you can mod, and it only takes a few components with the newest version of the mod.

As far,as i know - you can repair an XBOX, while it's DVD drive is in working condition. When it's broken - it's "nogo".
