Hey guys Liam here. Happy Halloween! We hope you enjoyed this reading! However due to the Halloween deadline we couldn't do everything we wanted with it and I would estimate it's roughly 60% of what it could be. We're not massive fans of the whole "if this video gets so many likes or views we'll do...XYZ" that many creators do, but we're willing to make an exception to ourselves just this once because of how fun this project was and how much more we feel we could do with it. If this video reaches a decent amount of views and likes (relative to our more popular video performances) in a reasonable amount of time I'll revisit the chapter and refine the levels, Foley, ambiences and vocal FX as well as fully score it with its own made from scratch music. If not we'll leave it be and add it to the ever growing pile of "was fun to try something different" videos and get back to work on another entry to our who can beat the Mountain series as that is definitely a very neglected topic on our channel. This right here is the perfect ending to a perfect day hearing you read this badass chapter I had the honor and pleasure of volunteering at a haunted house all evening as the character Leatherface from chainsaw massacre and I got to scare everything from children to full grown adults! Irish is correct, though admittedly a few of those Euron lines sound like a monstrous mish mash of Irish, west country Pirate and Jamaican patoire 😂 Irish is not an accent I'm particularly practiced with, but when I read iron islanders (apart from Theon who logically will have a northern twang) I hear them as Irish in my head and find I can't read them out loud any other way 😂

I would absolutely love to but the time it would take would be astronomical. Those books aren't exactly small and the post production involved with adding Foley (and if I were to do it I'd want to score it musically as well) adds even more time to the process. Someone would have to pay me a pretty decent pay cheque to live off to do a full book as it's not something I could do as a hobby in any reasonable amount of time, especially with the channel and my own audiobook project in the works But honestly thank you for the interest! It's actually an Irish (specifically around Belfast) accent I was shooting for. There is a massive overlap between the phonics and syllibal pronunciations between Irish and Caribbean islands due to the colonial era and mass influx of Irish people so I understand why you would think that 😂 especially with some of the more shaky lines in the middle.
