It's definitely ice being back on familiar ground. I did have an amazing time in Cambodia though and I am looking forward to going back. Both countries are amazing and the people are moreso.

I did the border crossing once and that was my last trip through the no man's land for me. Time is money🎉

I get it. I was fortunate enough to not have anything pressing during this trip. I felt bad for folks that had made plans for connecting busses or other forms of transportation. Some were getting close to missing their connection.

I'm glad that my sense of humor showed through. After the four hours of standing I wasn't feeling as funny as I usually think I am. Haha

Thai border return ALWAYS takes several hours. Been there done that! Midweek no holiday, it just is.
@FrugalWanderer9 ай бұрын
That's good to know. I had some friends go the same route a few weeks prior to me and they took two hours. I was expecting at least that much. However four hours was not expected, but it went by quickly enough and the people in the queue made it fun.

Traveling between these 2 countries is like a dream vacation. Its the traveling that would take a toll on your body especially if it's more than 4 hours. Maybe planning a flight during off peak season to keep the cost down may help but can't be compared to bus and train fares with longer travel time. I guess it's a trade off. I'm not too sure. And age could be a factor too. As i got older i tend to travel less. My body ain't what it used to be 😂

After the 30 hour flight from Canada to get here, these 8 hour trips feel like a dream to me. Haha. If the seats in the bus weren't as comfortable as they are, it would not be a comfortable trip. I took Giant Ibis both ways and it was a comfortable ride both times. To be honest, I prefer the bus compared to a flight, because the waiting at an airport always seems to be more stressful for me. I'll take a chill ride on a bus any day. I may feel different when I get older, but right now it's fine.

Awesome! would it be possible to indicate the travel costs in upcoming videos cause it may help others planning similar trips as your videos are helpful. Maybe you did and i missed it🤣@@FrugalWanderer

@@mst6429 no apologies ever needed. I should be more up front about the costs and you reminded me of that. I'm still new to this and every day I learn something new. I appreciate any and all feedback.
