My mom has a 2010 Camaro RS with a 3.6L LFX V6 making 304 HP and 278 Ibs of Torque and its a blast to drive.

This documentary was filled with image errors and the very first minute was wrong information. The Firebird was a afterthought given to Pontiac, because they wanted to build their own Corvette competitor called the Banshee! General Motors told Pontiac they can make their own version of the F body platform. Which took cues from Tempest and GTO. You showed pictures of LS And LT engines on first and second generation Camaros. You showed a picture of the rare cross plane dual carburetor intake, only found on first generation Z28 302. For a third generation Camaro. You even showed a picture of a LS9 that was never a engine option on any generation Camaro. I would prefer to listen to a true enthusiast of a topic, rather than someone who is really not interested, but just reading off a script.

You are right. This video info are so wrong, pontiac firebird are camaro version of pontiac, camaro are not made after firebird.

Okay I was not the only one that picked up all those image errors. Plus in the very first minute to imply that the Camaro was a offshoot of the Firebird is the total opposite!

Well made video!! However, a car that enters a segment created by its competitor, and then goes out of production, twice, is not the winner...😢 The Ford Mustang created the pony car segment, and is the "ONLY" pony car to remain in constant protection, ever since!!

Right, however if the Mustang is so good then how come didn't revive the Mercury brand by creating the modern Cougar to be more up above the Mustang with a even more powerful version of the 5.0L Coyote V8?

@@CJColvinI'm not sure why, but I'm upset at Dodge for discontinuing the Challenger. The Camaro should've been discontinued after the fourth generation instead of the Dodge Challenger.

I've always been a big fan of the 2nd gen Cameros. The 3rd gen is a good 2nd. But I have owned a 2nd gen. A 76 RT white with black racing stripes. It has the 350 4bolt Muncie 4spd, & 383 gears out back. Ive never owned a 3rd gen, but I did have a 3rd gen Firebird. It was a fun 1 as well. It had the sm blk 400 T350 trans. A 16 yr old with a cat with some decent power... Well y'all can imagine what it was like😂. ALSO BRING BACK T-TOPS!

#0th Anniversary was in 1997 and the facelift was in 1998. You said they both happened in 1999. lots of small mistakes.

What killed the camaro was the price and always trying to be like the mustang instead of being its own thing like how the challenger did and when ever the camaro started being to good it would get shut down cus of the corvette

They should've just discontinued the camaro after the fourth generation and let the Corvette run in NASCAR instead. Also the generation of the street cars don't match up with the generations of NASCAR at all, which only makes it even more confusing as hell. I'm also upset with how the Dodge Challenger was discontinued instead of the Camaro, and I wish they would bring my favorite muscle car back. Who else agrees with me?

The ZL1 is pretty much a Corvette with a different body, the Corvette has potential for super car capabilities and there's really no room for the Camaro besides being the "retro muscle car" there isn't room for it in the modern market. The Corvette is more available than the F-40 so it doesn't really have competition with it. The mustang and the Corvette share the same market. The Camaro is just its own thing that has always tried to be in the mustangs market It did a better job back then. A new Gen of Camaro that does it own thing without trying to focus on what the mustang doesn't sounds way too good to be true.
